What happened is we once again looked past a game and just looked at the Super Bowl. Also made mistakes that we were able to avoid all year.

Losing Amik after 3 plays hurt

In my opinion all the defensive injuries finally caught up with the Lions and Goff and company couldn't pull out the the W. 31 points is more then some teams in the league scored in a game all year. It shouldn't take 47 points to win a football game. The Lions defense needs to stay healthy and produce if the Lions want to win the super bowl. It's more then possible. The coaching is sound and we have a good GM. I'm sure Holmes and Campbell will focus on the defense this year in the draft and in free agency. Look up people. The Lions had a great season. 15 and 2 first time. Offense was one of the greatest in history. The Lions haven't lost 2 in a row in years. Won the North twice in a row. They just weren't healthy down the stretch and it cost them. This is the best team the Lions have ever had. It's going to get better. But it starts with getting healthy and staying healthy through the season. The Lions can't afford to play every week with a "Frankendefense" and expect to win in the playoffs.

True but the lane to a sure Lions Victory was not taken…. It was very simple.. Run the goddamn ball and sprinkle in quick short passes to the 2nd level… score on long slow drives that eat the clock… duh.. But instead, we had the Bears Head Coach as our offensive coordinator, and he calling one shitty horrible play after another.
