I have been amazed at your pantry. I'm sure you spent a fair amount of time gathering, producing it. I joined your site only a few months ago and have enjoyed all your videos. I love the positivity and willingness to share you both have shown. I have learned much from Guildbrook farms. I will continue to watch your videos and I've learned recently the best way I can help is to not skip the ads. I just let them play through now.

You guys deserve the support, your viewers love you, for good reasons too! My prepping question is about space, when you buy a house do you look at how much space you will need for the pantry, ie convert a bedroom into a pantry? Thanks for your amazing videos

I would LOVE to see a prepping Q&A! You have talked a lot about getting food in bulk at a discounted price from various places... I would LOVE if you would go into more detail about what resources you use, and what kinds of things you like to look for.

My prepping question is for Jeremy: If there was a no electricity crisis = no power tools, besides the basic tool kit you mentioned in your recent video, what else would you have in your toolbox... Here's the same question for Jaime, what electric kitchen or garden tools would you duplicate with a manual tool and which electric tools would you do without?

I would love to see hyour natural first aid kit as part of the prepping. Also, since you store lots of stuff that needs to be cooked, do you have some sort of camping stove or similar thing to cook them during disaster? I am also thinking about adding high nutritional value things like molasses, seaweed, herbal powders, green powders.

If I don't have a basement to put a pantry in, what else would you suggest. I live in Ohio so outside is not good in the winter. I do have a sun porch, but it gets hot in the summer.

My prep question is this: Do you plan on taking any of those pantry items with you if you have to evacuate? If so, how much and what do you take and how, when it's so heavy and bulky. We have a bunch of food storage, but struggle with the idea of leaving it behind, if evacuated.

You've lived through my (in my head) worse case scenario. A major earthquake! I've been through THOUSANDS of tiny tremors and such. But, I still remember the 4.9 I went through as a nine year old kid. It was horrible and it was ONLY a 4.9. Of course our soil is different here...and the intensity is amplified tremendously because of liquefaction. I would love to know what you took away from your Nepal experience that you had never thought of before "that" day. I prep to stay here. Stay put. But, I know if something like that happens...a big one...I'm not sure staying here would be possible at all. I would love to hear your thoughts and anyone else chime in on ideas for that ..that has truly been through it. Love your videos!!!

And I don't mean horrible as in damage. I mean I think it scarred my mind for life. I was 30 miles from the epicenter close to the Mississippi river.

Watched all your videos this week, loved them all and so happy to hear that you will be continuing with more. I have no intention of leaving my animals and farm if shtf scenario, but there are so many out there who do not prepare for a problem and I am concerned about what to do about them if they come our way to try and take ours. My son thinks the chickens and turkeys will lure people because they can hear them. I think I am going to learn to can on an outside wood fire just in case I have to put the roosters and toms in the pot! The hens are not as loud and we live in a secluded wooded area a quarter mile down our driveway from the road. Maybe enclose them in a building so they can't be heard ? What do you think?

I hope the best for you, and that you can find a place in your current area that is affordable and will allow you to raise livestock as you wish. Probably with a larger back yard so you don't have to garden in the front. I bought my land about 18 years ago, and am only now finishing up a build on it (just retired). I'm still zoned farm, but I can see the encroaching types of folk who buy in, that want to be a Big Fish in a small pond there. I am rushing to get established before they get ornery, should that be what they choose. (Chickens, Shetland sheep, meat goats in my plans.)

Hello. I am very new to prepping. Wanting to prep and trying to start on a limited budget. I am working on building up a working pantry and a long term pantry (rice and things that don't expire as quickly). I feel it is imprtant to eat this items and be used to cooking them but running into recipes the have too many ingredients or kids won't eat. Any ideas on prepper pantry meals that are great to eat regularly? Like rice, beans stuff, or others. I am wanting to build up a "prepper" style cook book of easy to cook, healthy, easier to store items, and we enjoy eating.is it normal for prepping to feel overwhelming? Trying to figure out where to focus as a newbie is challenging. Love your guys channel and wishing you all the best. Hopes and Prayers on your new adventures!

Violet Dizzy The truth is Violet that you're sort of looking at it the wrong way round for just starting. Everything you said is right, but; to start with, where you are now you need to stock up on stuff that you already know how to cook and you know will get eaten. Buying other things because they store longer doesn't guarantee your family will eat it. Try new recipes by all means using rice or beans the internet is littered with examples, and maybe you'll find new favourites, but you might find to start with they won't eat beans be they Black, Red Kidney or Cannelinni, so stocking them gains you nothing. Shop BOGOF's on stuff you definitely know will get eaten and get into the habit of moving your stores forward eating the oldest first. That's developing a working pantry skill. Start your 'Prepper Cookbook' for just your family, keep the successes and drop the fails into YUCK - Bin it & Maybe when we get used to it sections and you've taken a big step in taking control of being prepared. Good Luck.

I do agree. Don't stock what you don't eat. I'm autistic so most of my meals have no more then 5 ingredients and 10 things to do to get it cooked. Jaimy has some good ones to. So she gets to go first, but I'm happy to share mine to if you want.

I liked the way my name was prenounced last time. So here is a question if you only had the money to buy one. Which would you buy first and why, the waterbathcanner or the pressurecanner? And I have a question regarding defence when SHTF occurs. We aren't alowed to carry guns where I live and I'm a paccifist. So I would like to hear your thoughts on how to defent myself and my foodstock. Or go hide and invest in pooching/ servivalskills.
