I'm totally disappointed even while I kept my expectations extremely low. It's just sad to see how the devs are reking a game with that much potential only by bad decision making and whack communication towards the player base.

The developers work really sporadically. Sylveon gets nerfed overnight yet this overpowered squirrel is allowed to run rampant. I love that each match is 10 min, but that's pretty much all its got going for at this point. I hate that you know you will win or lose a match based on your team composition. It sucks that you're forced to drop your favorite Pokemon to run a meta character like Greedent, Lucario, Zeraora, Cinderace, Venusaur, and Greninja. Any other choice means you are actively sandbagging the team. It's insane that there's no variety with the vast number of pokemon available. Maybe the best move is to drop the game and pick it up in a year or two to see how much it has progressed. No more daily missions means I can make a clean break from this game. I feel for you content creators that invest so much on games where the developers don't care about community building. Thank you for always being awesome, Adamocles!

Even if you look at this from a money making perspective the way the devs are handling this game straight up makes no sense. They're backed by the largest franchise in the history of media and have the benefit of working on one of the most addicting genres in gaming. Thats literally the formula of success handed to them right at the start. How do they not see the potential in that?? All they needed to focus on was player retention so people play the game long enough to actually want to buy the game's premium content. Instead they're just pushing players away (both new and older players) with their significant lack of updates and almost nonexistent communication.

I'm a char/greed/crustle main, i agree with most ppl wanting to nerf greedent. Everyone's abusing his unite belch covet combo. I also got Crustles skin from gacha pull, 25 pulls and i got crustle's temple holo and snorlax's holo which i think is cool. And yeah, the main downside of the game is the matchmaking...

To me, it's not even the fact that you can play with newbies, or the fact that Greedent needs 2-3 teammates to been defeated But the fact that they cut off dailies. Now i can't possibly even buy a pokemon in two months

If they dont do a patch wednesday they're basically agreeing to loose a huge chunk of their playerbase. I'm even considering to stop playing if they dont release something in a day or 2, they need to start communicating with us, a road map or whatever, they have to do something.

i dont think the devs will fix the matchmaking but i do think they will give out more aeos tickets and the message would say "we dont know how to fix the matchmaking because we are a bunch of bumbling idiots but we think these free tickets might fix everything".

Yeah, bruh at least they should show the Team TOTAL GOAL Score Board. *Example like League of Legends total kills scores at the top center. When someone got first blood it will show ( " 1 | 0 " ) .

Every time I play ranked I play maybe 2 games and rage quit immediately, I thought it was just me but the rank matches are a complete mess. Very disappointed.Love your videos brother and how you keep it real and don’t sugar coat this game that we all love but there’s things to be fixed.

not only that but the rewards were bugged, I fell down before the season ended one rank, but it didn't give me the rewards for my highest rank, but the one I was in. So instead of 15k tickets I got 10, I still haven't heard anything about addressing that!

Completely agree with everything you've said. I came from Smite which I have 6 years on. I solo queue and last season in Pokemon Unite I got to Masters the hard way. Now? I can't even begin to be bothered. Bought the battle pass, but I have no motivation to play. It's horrific how bad the match-making is. I either curbstomp my enemies and carry, only for my team to have no clue what they're doing and we lose - because they're going against 5 stacked Masters or just Masters in general and they're all Expert rank or Veteran - or I go against a 5 stack TTV team with the . in-between their names and they stomp us due to communication... it's a joke. The game has potential, but I'm quickly finding myself wanting to break the controller I'm using more than I'm having fun, and I'm finding myself becoming so toxic and I hate it.

I feel the same way. I don't think it's likely to happen, but I wouldn't put it past them to just randomly revamp things in the middle of the season like the Dred/Rotom changes a few weeks ago considering how horribly they've been handling the game thus far. I don't think I'll outright quit over this, but I'm definitely going to stop playing as much as I have been. No daily missions, lackluster battle pass I don't care to pay nor grind for, same garbage solo queue experience in every mode for probably the full 80 days again; like... what am I supposed to do with that? It's just frustrating because SwSh's multiplayer features and now Unite are the most fun I've had with Pokemon since way back in the GBA/DS eras, but now what was fun about SwSh isn't present in either of the new mainline games and Unite is being handled about as poorly as those.

Yknow, I still remember months ago when me and my friends used to play Unite. Sadly, I was the only one left when the Halloween Update dropped and I got Greedent. I told them about the Pumpkin Exchange to maybe get them back around? But end of the day that failed too. I was really hoping season 2 would change everything and turn stuff around, but I guess this game will be nothing more than a money milker if they don't listen to the community they've built.

I’m happy they aren’t over changing things. That being said they could play around with the game a little bit more, but this isn’t League of Legends, so if it’s more relaxed I’m cool with that ^_^ The only thing I really want for the most part, is better Ranked Games. Solo(Maybe Duo) - Only pair people with others in the tier. And 5v5 ranked. That’s it. (Maybe a hard ranked Reset would be nice) I like how normals are a cluster f***. I find it more enjoyable. I can relax mess around and not care, as a Master player, in Normals. I lose some I win some works for me.

I don't even know what to think any more about this. I mean I completely agree with everything you've said. Just the fact that they haven't fixed ranked mode and matchmaking for season 2 makes it seem like they don't want to change it, because now was the time to do so if ever. If the game continues on this same path, it's going to die. Quite clearly. I wonder if they even understand how much it is ruining their game. In my eyes, everything else could've waited, but matchmaking is something they needed to fix now.

I’ve really tried sticking with the game. It’s a really good concept but the execution of it is just bad. Be paired with expert players when your in master is just not okay. The player base isn’t good either. I’ve had many games where my teammates actively wait to take all the exp and then they don’t come to zapdos or important team fights. The devs are destroying their game and I just don’t enjoy it anymore. I hop into one ranked match and my team doesn’t know what to do and afk. The devs have put all their effort into ignoring their community and no effort into actually improving the game.

i played a couple of games solo q after the reset and got to ultra1 ranked 965 global and i haven't touched it up until now coz i'm afraid i'll be up against 5stack top teams while having random experts on my team. i hope they fix this later on.

The game shows the rewards for every rank, it said it was just 20000 meh tickets, which is why i didnt even bother getting masters.

The start of this new season is undeniable proof that they will always do what they think will make them the most money. The only thing that was added is stuff that costs money to get. I stopped having faith in the devs for this game early on. I've been through it too many times to not notice the red flags prior to this big one. Companies like this don't just suddenly change their ways. They're deciding to do the things that they do because at the end of the day, it's still a source of income. Everything about this game is just meant to get kids to spend money, all the way down to the matchmaking system matching high win rate players with low win rate players to try and help them get a win. Keep the kid as happy as possible with occasional wins from bot games) being carried so that they keep asking their parents for money.

Yes! You dont Progress very fast once you hit veteran. And player are making questionable decisions, that dont fit the rank they are at. Hard feeding, overextending, ignoring zapdos. Its super frustrating

These devs are not going to fix this game not this Wedensday or any days coming up anytime soon. I hate to say it but these devs feel like they have no idea what a moba is or how to fix it. These devs barely seem like they listen to community feedback at all and don’t know how to balance anything. They should have ended the season when they were going to drop a new patch and fix as much of the issues that people have talked about as possible but they haven’t. I kind of don’t believe that they are going to fix anything and as long as people are dishing cash out to them they are going to do what they want to do. I myself have nearly 1100 games right now and I still get queued with people who literally just started playing this game when the mobile release came and its so annoying since they hold back the team since they are still learning or they are on the opposite side and I steam roll them. This is not helping either side get any better and I swear they are not fixing this issue both in standard and ranked since they want people to get in games as fast as possible instead of letting players be in skill based match making. I’ll wait longer to be on a team or against opponents who are at my level. As for five stacks going against solo is just stupid and I don’t feel that is getting fixed anytime soon. If this doesn’t get fixed after the end of this next ranked season I might drop this game which is so sad since I love Pokemon and this game a lot and have supported it since day one. But its not worth supporting a game where the devs don’t care what the community is saying.

They just just showed their true colors with this (most people who are a little bit critical of things knew alredy though) : money. Thats the only thing they care about, they dont care about making it a great game or a fun and fair experience for everybody, they just want to sell 40$ skins to sheeps. (I'm sure we'll see another one of those skins real soon btw) And they just never talk or reply to the community either, thats really concerning, they are the worst company i've ever seen handling a moba, they literally have a money printing machine for years to come if they would actually do just a little work, but they dont seem to want to put more effort into it as long as people keep forking them money, a real shame.

omg this community is so whiny, we literally got a pokemon like 3 weeks ago and yall are already wanting another.
