I miss the old Hollywood Disney MGM. I was there around the second week of June 1989. It might have been small but we had a great time. I can still remember my dad when he saw the Ruby slippers on the Great Movie Ride. I thought they were fake because how the cheap made look until dad had us to come over and read the sign with them. They were real.

Micah I was there in 1990. I saw everything in its original form. I miss plenty that used to be there. The Backlot Tour with Catastrophe Canyon, Honey I Shrunk The Kids Playground and I even miss Mulch, Sweat, and Shears that used to play out on the New York Streets.

Micah, the celebrity of the day was great. I saw Bernie Kopell and more importantly Douglas Fairbanks Jr. They did a q&a in the Beauty and the Beast theater, then they were in the parade down Hollywood Boulevard.

Hooray for Hollywood..... miss old MGM.... it was like stepping back in time.... glad the front is still basically the same.... the back is completely different.... miss Backlot tour, catastrophe canyon, great movie ride...miss all that stuff.... Loved the vlog today. I like you really enjoy Hollywood Studios. The first time we visited was August 1990, for our honeymoon. The star of the day was Robert Kline, watched the whole hands in cement. I don't know where his hands are, maybe TOTS. We were selected to participate in the sound effects show, can't remember the name. Watched a taping of Let's make a deal. Of course, I still have my MGM studios hat.
