A severe business exodus from downtown Los Angeles is accelerating day by day , Historically, downtown held a dense concentration of banks, department stores, restaurants and movie palaces that drew residents and visitors of all socioeconomic classes, but after 2020 the area began to experience an economic and social decline to the point of complete collapse, downtown is unrecognizable from what it used to be before 2020.

You're right. It is intentional. These properties will be bought at fire sale prices by Black Rock and other investment firms. Small real estate investors will be pushed out. Private property will no longer be attainable to most citizens-that's already started. As Klaus Schwab of the WEF said"By 2030 you will own nothing and be happy".

As a Polish individual who resided in the USA for over 35 years, I experienced a gradual decline in quality of life each year since my arrival. Four years ago, the tipping point was reached, prompting my family's return to Poland. We now reside happily in Warsaw, enjoying its safety and cleanliness. Our daughter, born in California, Orange County refuses to entertain the thought of returning. This decision ranks among the best in my life. It's not solely a California issue; the entire country is crumbling while its elites prioritize excessive spending on endless wars and undocumented immigrants.

As a Czech born, who has now lived in five countries, including 33 years now in the USA, I almost did as you have. But I know better the hisory of Europe and had a strange feeling Europe is soon to suffer a similar fate. So it would be out of the Frying pan, into another frying pan. My mom said it well in the early 2000's when she said to my father "you know better than to ever want to move back. There are cycles of history that always repeat in Europe. It's great now - but we need to remember that Europe will always be in a war eventually. She seems to have been right. Europe is a crazy place now, kind of like Democratic cities were fifteen years ago. Europeans just can't help themselves. They all hate their neighbors at some level. I grew up with Poles in Canada. The Poles were pretty brutal in their own hates and prejudices. And the Czechs are wimps. Europe - no thanks. Not for a long while with what the EU is up to. But good luck.

@@petroskyrillos Poland is in the EU, and seemingly one of the more warlike nuts if one judges by your leaders and media. I feel sorry for the regular people of Poland and other EU member states because you a a puppet of the US's biden regime. It was never a dream of mine, and I'm Australian too. I knew America was declining way back in the '80's. My niece had to visit Washington for work, and she told me there were whole families living on the street. Beggars everywhere, and the city was just generally sketchy. Thankfully, we don't have any cities like that in Oz.

My grandmother who was very poor always said, "Just because your poor does not mean you have to be dirty. All you need to stay clean is a bucket, soap, and a will." The will part is especially key. What infuriates me the most is that if your poor or bad off don't waste money on spray paint. Save that money for food or clothes or a tent! There is no excuse for leaving trash around. Public trash cans exist. Poverty is hard to get out of, but a mindset willing to do better is vital for survival.

@@tadeuszczernia5422 poverty exists as a major issue thnx to all forms of mass governance, they claim ownership over everything and force people to become willful slaves to survive and fork out $$$ to access their human rights. in the days prior to such poverty barely existed, unless you were stupid = these people declined in number being to stupid to feed and care for themselves and as such old societies absent mass governance were happy and healthy, if you dont like your family, village, tribe or community you just left, set up shop someplace else and could survive easily long as you were willing to work for "yourself", were under mass governance this is illegal or treated as such even if its not illegal by all forms of mass governance once they establish power and control over those masses and poverty always follows after it, as now the most stupid and dependent are protected and the wise and intelligent are hanged for disobedience = why every mass governed society slowly but surely its people always becomes more stupid with time, there are not examples to show otherwise.

Sort of makes me wonder who’s paying the taxes on all of those empty buildings. Who is/are the owner of record(s)? Given the state of them and the derelict surroundings, I can’t imagine anyone will be doing any leasing or selling. The old ones break my heart with all of the fine details and workmanship buildings used to have. It’s such a shame it’s all just sitting, slowly falling apart. For the structures that are still in fairly good condition, rezoning them for homeless shelters, drug clinics, childcare. It’s likely too costly but it would be a huge help to those with nowhere to go. Better than making outdoor toilets out of old doorways. Great video, Leo! I’m a new subscriber. Well done. ❤️🐈

We went there a couple years ago. Parts of LA were post-apocalyptic. Skid Row was the most shocking poverty I have ever seen in my life. Literally like a city of beggars like in a post apocalyptic sci-fi movie. That made me realise America is screwed.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles throughout the 70’s-90s. I left after the riots. This is just heart breaking. I remember when these places were open and thriving. I agree, shame on some of these politicians to let it get this way. Thanks for reporting. 👍🏽

@@petercampbell3817 I'm in Az now. I thought it was a pretty "straight up" state. But I went through the last 2 elections here. Both were fake. Everybody here knows it. The uproar went on for years. A leaked cell phone video showed the new governor swearing in. She made it into an absolute foul mockery, live, and in real time. I'm sure the video is still up somewhere. Funny thing is, they still talk about the "next election". Except it's not really funny. ------ "I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this - who will count the votes, and how." ------- Even Snopes proved that one as verified My point/observation? Who in their right mind would vote for this..any of this... It's complete insanity. But people, real people, still have "hope". We'll see what happens...

Many will be falling from their delusions of grace straight to a skid row near them. The future is looking pretty bleak… for everyone. Sh* t is going to become undeniably unbearable.

Most divorces in 2023, 2022, 2021 all the way back to 1970. More than gen x, millennials, silent generation, greatest generation etc. You offshored all industry, put yourselves and kids into student debt (boomers hold the most student debt per individual with student debt) voted in family courts to destroy familial wealth, reverse mortgages, and now you're on about running away and getting paid for this dumpster fire...by this dumpster fire. You're delusional. Which methhead is funding your retirement? Ukraine got your money. Go get it back lol.
