I ate there last year. It was my most memorable meal in the whole 9 months I was in Thailand. I also stopped at that same scenic overlook. Quite nice seeing it again.

My favorite Western breakfast in Chiang Mai. In the bottom of the Maya Mall at the Rimping market right next to the motorcycle parking. They have a great western style breakfast for really cheap.

Your videos are so much fun! We spent last January in Chiangmai and your channel brings back so many great memories. We also liked the Cowboy hat lady but what we really loved even more was the Sukiyaki lady also at the north gate. She’s maybe a one minute walk from the cowboy hat lady and also has quite a following. We always had to wait about ten minutes for our food due to her popularity.

The Anthony Bourdain show had his fellow chef, Andy Ricker, leading him through the market. His restaurant in Portland, Pok Pok, just closed down and now plans on staying in a village outside of Chiang Mai. Have you seen him? You should do another video with him to offer insight into current state of local food scene.

Your everyday activities are "next level.". All over the internet, there are vloggers walking or driving around Thailand doing ordinary things. My wife and I live in Phetchabun, so we see the everyday real Thailand constantly. Some Thailand vloggers, mostly guys, have beautiful girls in the thumbnail that draw you in just to watch the girls, but that's pretty much all they have as they do mostly ordinary things. But a very few, like you, CB Media, and James Abroad, are so full of personality and enthusiasm. You didn't really do or see much in this video, but I watched the whole thing and thoroughly enjoyed it! Now I am really enjoying your provinces tour, but even these everyday Chiang Mai videos are great.

hey paddy, great video and i love the direction you are going with the new channel. my buddy and i were supposed to be in thailand right now (both from U.S.) and in chiang mai, but alas, COVID had other ideas. one thing i would suggest is taking your camera off of AUTO-FOCUS mode. the focus seems to always be searching for that sweet spot. if you take it off auto focus and bring your f-stop to say an 8 or higher, it should keep things in focus (especially in daylight). keep up the great work and look forward to your upcoming videos. cheers.

I got diarrhea after having her food a few years ago when we were in Chiangmai scattering our mom’s ashes. I still remember the sewage smell where her stall was. I live in the Nimman area and there are limitless opportunities for food, beverages and entertainment. I rarely even go into the old city. The drone video of the "Temple in the Clouds" is brilliant, that's one hell of a climb up to that temple.You are on Highway 1004, climbing Doi Suthep, Doi Pui is the peak west of Doi Suthep. The only Russel viper I've seen in Thailand was about 20 meters up the path to the peak from the camping area.There is a good coffee shop across from the entrance to Buping Palace and the banana waffles at the entrance to Wat Doi Suthep are to die for.

OMG! When you say Nimman I don’t recognize it anymore! It’s changed a lot. Chiang Mai is my hometown but I haven’t been back to Thailand for 6 years now. I miss everything there. Took me down memory lane when I last visited Chiangmai in 2018 and I stayed in a wonderful hotel in Nimman area s well. every morning pulling back the curtains and I get a direct view of the mountains. absolutely divine.
