The Gulf of Mexico is an impact crater.
@jakubw.27793 жыл бұрын
Nah, not really. Definitely not from chixhulub impact. The object which would create Such a humongous crater would have to be at least 10-20 bigger than the chixhulub asteroid. If something THIS big would hit Earth in a reasonable period of time (where the crater wouldn't be completely covered by tectonic activity) i doubt there would be life on Earth today. That thing would literally pierce through the Earth's crust and would destabilize entire planet (one of the theories says that's exactly how Mars lost 20% of its mass and "died" of course the object that killed Mars was way bigger, but still). Energy released by this impact would have reshaped almost entire landscape and ejecta thrown away would change the Earth into unhabitable barren desert. Life would probably eventually find a way but definitely not in the shape we know and definitely thousands if not millions of years later.

To be clear, it didn’t wipe out the dinosaurs, just the non-avian ones. Birds, which are dinosaurs in every sense of the word, survived because they’d evolved to become omnivorous. The other dinosaurs were either carnivores or herbivores, and no such creatures survived the KT event (eating carrion was the only game in town for a while).

Did you ever consider the reason you can’t find the asteroid ☄️ that killed the dinosaurs is because it wasn’t an asteroid?

@@suportbghelp4938 yeah weird bc they say that the people who used this book learned how to measure time and how science works. Also it reveals astronomy information that weren't discovered yet and other used it in medical science.Some say that their heart changed and become to understand the meaning of life. Maybe if more people read this book the world would change for the better but there are lot of us who dont wanna know the truth and at the end we discovere that we all have been lied and we could of changed. Just maybe😉

Did you miss the short bus today? Drop a boulder off of a sky scraper and watch it hit the ground. Its going to shatter into millions of almost unrecognizable pieces. Now do the same thing with a space rock traveling tens of thousands of miles faster weighing billions of tons more... and you expect to find any sizable chunk of it?

What if the astroid that hit Earth was a spaceship of sorts from a different plant. It could have brought humans to Earth. The spaceship could have been destroyed. After time the humans that came from the spaceship could have forgotten about their past. The ancient civilizations could have been trying to contact the people from their past plant.

What caused it to be so precise with its aim and so fast to be able to travel the world several times before you even make a big meal. Just curious.
@jherodriguez7630 Жыл бұрын
It wasnt precise at all. It's just gravity stuff that caused the collision And speed? Space doesn't have any air resistance, so anything in motion in space just gains velocity
