Great vlog Jordan. I read a book on Jimmy Stewart. Stewart did not like Ben Siegel and was not afraid to tell him this to his face. Jimmy also tried to warn other famous movie stars like Cary Grant to stay away from him. When people tried to warn Stewart that he could be in danger for bad mouthing Siegel. Stewart stated to tell him to take his best shot.

My grandfather was a piano player/lyricist/voiceover actor/radio announcer in Hollywood and when my father went to see him at the piano bar, he sat down with his father with Bugsy Siegel and Virginia Hill to have dinner together. Bugsy and my grandfather knew one another. One of Siegel's guys, Mickey Cohen, had a wife named Yvonne, and she attended my grandfather's stepdaughter's wedding.

Thank you for the great vlogs! I just saw the Doris Day video, and it was wonderful! My dad was a dental technician starting in the 50's, and he knew the man who did Doris Day's teeth! He loved Doris Day as a teenager. Nate and Al is regularly frequented by Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks - they eat dinner a lot together. I bought a book Carl Reiner wrote off of his website and asked for it to be autographed to my two boys and I and he actually sent THREE books, each autographed to us. Such wonderful people. Thanks! Much love - stay safe! :)

There’s a really cool museum in downtown Las Vegas nicknamed “the mob museum” - the actual name is quite long. It’s very fascinating and I was able to purchase a book called Five Families. It’s mostly about Italian mafia, but there is a lot of back story of Irish and Jewish mafia as well.

Women seek predator type A-males. They're wired for it. I bet the clearest lipstick kisses are at least decades old.
@josephdockemeyer67824 жыл бұрын
@@wade998 It fits the theory that women are attracted to the bad boys in the same way that men, of all ages, are naturally attracted to young females (18-24 yrs) of reproductive, childbearing age. It's hardwired...
@maureenhansen33084 жыл бұрын
Wade naw, too much of a generalization. Women are attracted to type A, and gentle types, honest men, capable men, hard wired for wanting trustworthiness and security. Some women with difficult childhoods go for writing prisoners, marrying lifers in prison, bad boys, thugs and leaving lipstick at crypts. Very much in the minority.

To me - for a number of architectural reasons - this property has always represented the quintessential Beverly Hills/Hollywood/California mansion. Every single time I get to SoCal I feel compelled to drive by this spot. In full honesty it has very little to do with its history - there is just something about the architectural lines, landscaping, and location that ticks all the boxes?
