loved watching Dave Taylor play. He inspired a lot of young fowards and I've heard from more than a few old class & team mates say he's an absolute gentleman

I have managed some of the biggest pubs in Brisbane. When I was running a pub in Rockhampton I would see him occasionally. Still the nicest guy and and a stand up person. Top 5 I have ever dealt with

Still remember that grubber he made to scoring a try and it was that x factor play that only skilled half backs make.

I love coal train..... He showed so much promise & had a lot of speed for a big dog. Like big G I when he went to the bunnies is when he started putting on weight, I think if he stayed in qld it may have been different. Still a Maroons great in my books

He was so good at his peak, one of the most naturally gifted NRL players ever. I feel like he was really mismanaged by coaches. They wanted to turn him into some big battering ram workhouse, but that wasn't him, he was a creative playmaking edge forward, a devastating one, and should have been allowed to play to his strengths. They're making the same mistake currently with David Fifita. I think it is bound to wear down their spirit constantly trying to force them into something they aren't.

A couple of years ago I ran into David Argyle the Toronto Wolfpack owner in Bakersfield, CA. He told me the story about that trip to Portugal. Sadly, I got too wasted and forgot it. The moral of the story is he likes yayo.

I think you need to do one on Ricky Stuart (as a coach) besides his one premiership with the Phil Gould built roosters he has done nothing but destroy clubs including the roosters. Yet a good coach like Brad Arthur gets sacked (he keeps his job)
