What Happened to Day6 Jae? (EAJ PARK)

It's been over a year since Day6's Jae and JYP Entertainment split ways, since then Jae has went deeper into his alternate social media prescence as EAJ Park working on his Twitch streaming and releasing his new own music. Working on EAJ music even before departing JYP, he can now focus 100% of his efforts into his own projects, previously working with Keshi, Seori, Max, and featuring on 88Rising's Head in the Clouds multiple times, EAJ's career is starting to soar off after a year of leaving JYP.

I like him a lot both as day6 jae and eaj park. It's a bit sad to not see him in day6 anymore, his parts in every song were special. Kpop doesn't know what it lost and honestly tho it didn't deserve him. I hope he grows more

I feel like the situation with jamie was the part where he really lost a lot of support. I can kind of see both side i guess, the reality is it was an inconsiderate thing to say but i can also see the kind of thing he was trying to do. Like amoungst women it wouldn't be crazy to complement someone by calling them a hoe, its not a crazy thing to do. However that kind of comment takes a very different context when it is coming from a male coworker who is saying it to other people when your'e not around, add the fact he broadcasted it in public and and the fact that the kpop comminity can be very puritanical and you can see why it would be as upsetting as it was. On the other hand i can clearly see jae wasn't trying to call her a whore or anything like that, he was trying to express how cool she is and did it in a way that was very thoughtless and pretty rude.

Not trying to fully defend him or anything, cause yeah he clearly messed up, but I think that fact that if you watched the stream you can see that he was clearly taken by surprise when his chat told him the weight of his words says that he didn’t intend it in a condescending way. Even him immediately calling Jaime after the stream to tell her himself about what his said kinda shows how he knew he messed up. Props to him for actually going to her house and apologizing in person, because in the Kpop world all you ever get is a tweet at most. Even Jaime said that he wouldn’t have said that if he knew how harmful it was, and since they’ve literally known each other for 10+ years, I’m inclined to believe her. Overall, I think the whole situation was a huge reality check that really made him see that he needed help and to let go of baggage

Need to vent… A lot of the day6’s fandom today feels either, Jae did everything for the group and we should remember his presence 0t5 or now that he’s not in the group we shouldn’t mention him anymore ot4. I have respect for Jae, giving day6 everything he got. Him leaving was something not to surprising, I now realize that he didn’t wanted the idol life and being under a label was to restricting. I don’t support Jae as a fan anymore because he’s not with day6 anymore. I truly am thankful for what he’s done for day6. Now in the presence, I do think it’s okay to move on and enjoy day6 new albums (without him). Day6 has grown so much! Their new album ‘Band Aid’ was super successful! A lot of myday (day6 fandom) we’re worried, Jae helped creat day6’s bangers, how can we survive without him? I think now we can say we’re doing just fine. 0t4 got this!! I recognize Jae and his hard work but it’s time to move on to the next chapter for Jae and day6.

I think as soon as he got freedom of letting go of idol image, he did, all of a sudden. And probably because idols start young he was and is very inmature, out of touch with many things of the world like the depth of misoginy, racism, and stuff. Still, I believe in the "ignorance is cruelty after a certain point." Good for his friends to forgive him, but I just still see a male teenager trying to make his friends laugh by being a fool. The average heteronormative male that picks on women for laughs and says "that's gay" to shit like emotions.

was listening back to day6 musics live performance, and eveyrtime im cringed it is mostly in Jae's part. his live are generally very unstable and could destroy the whole songs. i think his voice is not suitable for day6 concepts.
