The Baseball Ground is something that will never leave me, even though we haven't played there for nearly 30 years now. There was someone indescribable about the place. But looking forward we are on the way back. The bond between the club and the fans is special. Also, David Clowes is incredible. He's not just a fan but a Rams die-hard and an anorak. There is not much he doesn't know about the club. And he's our saviour.

When that team was announced at Wembley and Marriott wasn't starting you could hear every Derby fan inside and outside of Wembley just give one huge " SIGH", it would have been like us reading the Villa team and Grealish not starting, look what happened as soon as Marriott was subbed on " GOAL"....

I was there, could not believe it. It was the fact he then came on and scored. Horrendous.

I've been supporting Derby since 1975, being from Singapore I never managed to attend any matches at The Baseball Ground. Watched Derby here and at Highbury in 1978. Doesn't matter what happens, once a Ram, always a Ram! COYR!!

From the days at the Baseball Ground to Pride Park and organising the march. If the worst thing did happen, I wouldn't have gone and supported another team. I'm so grateful to David for saving the club.

Derby County has royal mail to thank for being one of the founding members of the football league as Forest also applied, but their application was lost in the post, and the F.A. wanted to make Nottingham Forest a founding member from the East Midlands area, but because their application never arrived and Derby's did, the F.A. assumed Forest wasn't interested. Thank the Lord for Royal Mails' incompetence that day. Crazy!

no one cares about Forest, just ask your fanbase when you was relegated to league one. Stopped turning up, now you're in the prem, people care again, plastics

I still can't believe how QPR robbed Derby in the playoff final a few years ago which may have been a game changer for Derby's future. I hope they eventually return to the Premier League. ⚪⚫

Wouldn't want Luke Pingu as manager though. On his Fifa he spends like Mel Morris and wheels & deals like Redknapp but performs like Paul Jewel!

Correction: Preston is the only founder member of the EFL to have played in every EFL season. Others, including Derby, have played in the Premier League, so therefore have not played in every EFL season.

Pompey [Portsmouth] finished above us; When we visited them they had a 20k+ attendance. When they came to Pride Park the attendance was 32k+...Dave McGoldrick left for NCFC a smaller club. He probably took a pay cut. He missed out on promotion... ...If he'd have stayed with The Rams we'd have finished above Portsmouth...

Through thick and through thin we MIGHTY DERBY COUNTY FANS ARE AS LOYAL AS IT GETS. I'm just sick to death of owners like that W⚓ Mel morris etc being allowed to fuck up clubs and them personally facing hardly any punishment or consequences. A club like ours and Bolton etc deserve better these owners must face harsher punishment. We are so so lucky to of had a true RAMS HERO on in David Clowes who thankfully saved our club how many more times are clubs and fans going to have to face possible club write offs never to be seen again. Greed and more control from the EFL FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION to gaurentee they ie owners can't screw clubs over and get away with it fraud robbery etc it s us the amazing fans who suffer laugh if people wish but during Derby's troubles I had many sleepless nights I rarely get emotional but I did I cried I admit it at the possibility of Derby being finish for good due to greedy corrupt owners chairman ect... Sorry people for ranting on I'm just fed up with the rich taking the piss I mean FOOTBALL INVENTED BY THE POOR WORKING CLASS THEN STOLEN BY THE RICH. Massive love and respect to my fellow Derby fans around the city the country and the world. I love everyone off you especially those who stood up to arch through town that day. And now it's so refreshing for us to have some we'll earned glory no one can take that away I've kept the faith as us rams fans do for 27years and even when Billy Davis got us promoted to the Premier league way to early but again owners not wanting g to spend money screwing us over and although a special time Saturday was different as everyone ran on to the pitch I took a deep breath as tears off PRIDE ran down my face my 6 year old daughter said don't cry daddy we did it and yes we did it when I remember A. I apparently claimed we wouldn't do it and lose in the play offs I never once doubted our win Saturday it's nice for once to be smiling g at pride park and we rightly earned every point crap referees throughout the season didn't help but ay WE DID IT PEOPLE. SEE YOU IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP looking forward to our new puma kit. Thanks for reading ❤🐏
