I don't think there's anything fishy or shady abt the business. I believe everything was kosher and in order. It's just abt incompetency and mismanagement, and like Ms Vivy said herself they were too aggressive in expanding despite losing money. I heard they started off as e-commerce platform, b4 jumping into physical outlet. Instead of rushing into retail business they should start with a single store first. Managing a physical store is much costly then e-platform because it involves logistics and staffers and that raise the operation cost. Whereas ecommerce has much lower overheads.
