This is one of my favorite episodes. Vic was so incompetent. How can you borrow money from your wife’s daughter and not let her control anything about the restaurant? Patti’s husband had every right to be mad but unfortunately that’s a relationship that would never be fixed. Vic knew the quality was trash but ignorantly ignored it.

I used to live in Nyack ( my husband is a native Rocklander and told me not to eat here before they closed). I ran into Vic in 2014 while working at a liquor store nearby. He was still working as a restaurant manager at that time, as he was buying alcohol for the restaurant he was managing ( located in Valley Cottage at that time).

This is on the same road as Bella Gianna's from Hell's Kitchen: NY-303. Both are in opposite directions from the Palisades Mall. Apparently Fiesta Sunrise has been gone for years, but Fiesta Mexico is in Orangeburg, just a little south, and I believe Patti is the manager or has something to do with it. Bella Gianna's just closed a few months ago.

I never understood why a world renowned chef would waste his time on a dime a dozen Mexican restaurant. Anything with #d combo meals isn't fine dining.
