I feel like the ending with Sean in Mexico and Daniel in America is honestly the best one. Daniel will get to live his life if he stays since he's too young to be locked up but by staying Sean will get locked up for most of his life. He wouldn't have a life, he'd get out in about his mid-thirties. Daniel seems to have a happy, normal life with his grandparents and gets to live close to Chris. Sean, from the very short picture, seems to have a good time in Mexico or at least better than in jail. It's even better if he got with Cassidy or Finn because he still has someone there and gets to start a life with them. And it seems Daniel and Sean are still on good terms as well despite Daniel deciding to stay behind since Sean does keep in touch. It's sad that they don't get to be together but it's probably the best choice for them individually.

I got the third ending, and... the moment Sean breaks down in tears in the wood hit me so much. It shows that none ending is the best : they are together, but Sean is broken inside after all these years in jail. I see that like in LiS 1, there were two endings : the logic ending and the heart ending. But in this LiS ? All are heart ending, whit no perfect conclusion. That’s why i can’t say goodbye to the wolves brothers that easy. And that’s why Square Enix is so amazing.

The only good ending is the one where Sean is in Mexico while Daniel is in america with his grandparents. Sean got what he wanted and Daniel got to stay. Sean dies when Daniel wants to go to Mexico but Sean doesn’t, Daniel isn’t happy with his life when they both reach Mexico and Sean is depressed and broken due to prison where they both surrender. That’s the only ending making it better for everyone

Actually there isnt really a best ending. While Sean gets to live out his life in Mexico , Daniel is stuck on house arrest( notice the ankle bracelet during the scene 2:47). This is essentially Daniel trading his freedom and letting Sean live a life vs Sean going to jail for 15 years and Daniel living in freedom.

If Daniel just happen to get out of his permitted area, that thing will start beeping and the police will immediately chase after him. If you try to break it, the police will also be alert. Essentially, he is only allowed to be at school and home.

I interpreted it as Sean having a visceral realization of just how much time has passed and how much the brothers' paths have diverged. Daniel is telling him these stories, and Sean just has to sit there and think about how he missed all these moments with Daniel. And all because he was serving time for crime he didn't commit. And now Daniel has this whole life with other people that Sean may never have met, and Sean knows that he doesn't really fit into that world anymore. So he cries because he's happy for Daniel, but he's also sad for what he lost -- both the time that has passed, and the future that they might have been able to share.

The way I see it is this way: Lone Wolf: The worst ending. Sean dies and Daniel lives a sad and emotionally damaged life. Parting Ways: Sean lives a moderately good life, Daniel lives a moderately good life. Daniel has an ankle bracelet so he doesn't have complete freedom. Sean doesn't have his brother or family. Redemption: Daniel lives a great life, Sean lives a damaged and stolen life. Blood Brothers: Sean and Daniel live a moderately good life, but they're also living dangerously. Blood brothers seem to be the best outcome for both.

I think the best ending, for both of them is Daniel staying with the Reynolds while Sean goes to Mexico. We can see that Daniel lived pretty happy and normal life, had friends, went to school and such, while Sean got to live his life for himself and he looks happy too. They stay in touch too, obviously. In any other ending, Sean sacrifices everything for Daniel. He either dies, goes to prison, or lives with him in Mexico, which means he probably keeps dedicating his life go Daniel, like he did throughout the whole game. It's sad to see them get separated, but ultimately it's for their best. We've seen their bond and we know it's strong enough for them to keep in touch, while we have also seen Sean was willing to destroy and sacrifice his life for Daniel's happiness, and that's not good, especially because we have seen in Seattle before the incident and also in California that Sean was capable of having his life without constantly taking care of worrying about Daniel. He sure did take care of him on their journey, but that doesn't mean he has to keep doing it for the rest of his life. In Parting ways, they both got to live "normal" lives, and that's why I think it's the best ending. It also doesn't exclude the option of them seeing each other again, or Sean seeing Lyla or Karen.

I have no idea why Finn wasn’t in my photograph with Sean in my ending. I went along with his plan, they kissed, woke him up in hospital and they confessed they had feelings for each other. I also had high mortality so I’m really confused why he was alone.

Sad turth is that Sean should had never run away initially they had absolutely no evidence it was him and the death was from intense impact which can't be by done by a person considering the car fliped by nothing touching it. Plus if they suspected a bomb there would bomb residue which their isn't. Plus if he stayed they most likely get tried for around 1-5 years since at the time he was 16 plus they would fail due to only going off of assumptions not real physical evidence.

It would have been cool if through high morality you could lower that sentence to like 5years etc. After all what can they accuse you off ? Killing that cougar, which might be protected (determinant) 6. Potentially injuring or killing that officer in ep2 that was chasing the Bros and almost runs over Capt spirit (determinant) 7. Growing illegal pot and attempting to murder Merrill (determinant) 8. Escaping from arrest, at the hospital 9. Fleeing the crime scenes in ep1 10. @@yurigagarin3327 well for the wall, those racists will undoubtedly be brought as witness despite their dubious evidence. The gas station, I believe there is a camera that recorded the entire thing. Also I believe the camera at the interrogation room was still active when Daniel freed him. Also I believe the angle they will use to persecute Sean if high morality, is how much danger he put Daniel through, how he is a detrimental influence on him, used Daniel as an accessory to his crime, and was criminally negligent that allowed him to get injured 2 times, at least.

Both brothers surrendering isn’t the best but the most emotional, like Sean sacrificed a big section of his life in prison so Daniel could live it out normally and not on the run constantly. I actually started crying when I got this fucking ending cause I have a little brother and would do anything for him man, great game 👍

I read Daniel being on house arrest as being of his OWN DOING later in life not as punishment for the events at the border. Why would he have pictures of him with his car if he was on house arrest what sense of pride or even use would it be. Also we see pictures of him visiting his mom in Arizona way beyond Beaver creak where he lives with his grandparents. At the border Sean asked Daniel to disregard others lives and left then left his 10 yo brother to deal with the consequences. While Daniel was the “bigger brother” in taking accountability for both of their actions I imagine that Sean careless and selfish actions had an effect on how Daniel continued to live his life especially into teen years when many Challenge authority. I noticed that in the scene at the Reynolds’s home Daniel continued to just talk on the phone while his elderly grandparents cut the grass and brought in a bag of groceries without helping ( he was talking to his mom but still he could’ve helped Claire at least). If you compare the pictures with the one where Sean goes to jail you see Daniel hangout with friends graduate get a job move out granted it’s over a longer period of time. I also like how it show Daniel as working then moving out rather the just a random picture of him and his car. (possibly a gift from the Reynolds’s) This shows that Daniel is working for the things he wants and the fact that he can support himself in his mid 20’s and not still live with his grandparents show he’s responsible and a hard working. And while Sean is in jail it seam like he’s made a comic about their experiences (possibly published with a following I imagine from the barcode:) and still involved in Daniels live through visits. I was very happy (while sobbing) with my ending the brother eventually get to be with each other (without being criminals) and live the life that Esteban would be proud of:)
