If it's not an intended "twist" or well, arch, this probably won't just lead to one result where he isn't able to control what is "living inside" - the anger growing simultaneously along his power. It's like the underlined thing but however close we are to villianizing him, this could also be seen as the peak and where everything soon will unravel. Given how dark some of the endings in LiS2 can be, I wouldn't be surprised if Sean does end up developing powers as well but at the end of the series maybe Daniel goes on a rampage or something and Sean has to make a choice to use his powers to kill Daniel himself or something along those lines, kind of like how that one movie Chronicles ended. Would be an extremely devastating ending though.

Honestly this game may not have story plot changes but it does have different relationship and character perspectives , Daniel sees the world differently depending on Sean and to me its one of the best monkey see monkey do effect choice game out so far, even better than the walking dead game season 1 , with Lee and Clem , and how they react differently depending on choices. Lee and Clem didn't really have that. But Sean and Daniel do, so

I got a feeling the writers are trying their hardest to desensitize people from Daniel to stop seeing him as a kid and more of a monster. From my understanding as of writing this comment a lot of people do not like him, and this episode is not going to help that at all. What I think is odd though is that doing all of the "Good" options in the previous episodes does absolutely jack to help this relationship problem he is suddenly having with Sean, aside from being more likely to be responsible for his chores, and be slightly more honest.

RightNowJosh We don't know if he's dead or not. That glass share wouldn't have killed him. At most it would cause Sean to go blind in one eye. Also in the post credit scene the Officer talks about a cop killer. Throughout the first two episodes Sean was referred to as the cop killer because they wouldn't believe Daniel did it at such a young age. Finally I know Dontnod are a bit carefree with letting important characters get hurt or killed, such as Chris or Mushroom, but I don't think they'd kill off Sean in the third episode.

He was amazing in episodes 1 and 2. He was so adorable, innocent, and creative and just wanted to do childish stuff that kids do. But having your dad die, having to hide, and having to work in a terrible place in the woods after living a normal life definitely has a mental effect on you. I still love Daniel. People saying they hate Daniel would probably not be saying that if they went through the same thing he went through. What would you all do if your parents dies, and you had to flee from the cops, have to deal with a strict sibling, and have to work at a terrible, illegal place in the woods with so many bad influences around you? Jaiquay Allen imo theres two ways it can go down. Daniel could trust Sean as an older brother and try not to act out in such a dangerous environment, like most scared kids would do. Or, he could try to do whatever he wants and get his way in every single situation just because he has the power to lift things, even though guns are much more dangerous than he is. Daniel is such a spoiled brat, so theres no way that the first option will happen. He cant be disciplined because he wont listen to others, due to his belief that he can do anything, so he will continue to act like that and fuck over their lives. Until Daniel can be disciplined, theres no way to control him. Everything bad that happened in this episode was entirely Daniels fault

I think it's done to make us understand that no matter what our choices, we can not control everything, especially Daniel's behavior with what he experienced, the emotions and the frustration he feels about his status of child. On the other hand, with the immense power that he has made him very anti-sociable, he thinks that everything has gone to him because of it or that at least one should submit to him. Unfortunately no one has taken the time to explain how life works and so his primary emotions go to his head and make him make shit decisions like any other child would do but with his power and the environment in which he is, his decisions have far more serious consequences than the average of his peers. Typical brothers relation ship,the little bro never listen the big bro,get both in troubles & blame the big bro for messed up. It's always like that and those who say otherwise do not have a brother. It is not for nothing that respect, authority and order are values taught by the father while the mother takes only the good sides like love, tenderness or kindness. You need both to be "balanced" (people get there without it but it is very hard and it requires a lot of maturity, self control and recoil.What very few people have). It's like the pillars of a house, if one is missing, cracked or even shaky, everything falls apart, and there is the hearth that collapsed ... Daniel is on the wrong slope but his power prevents him from understanding the difference between good and bad things while taking away responsibility for his actions, he just kills or hurts when he has a problem, life does not work like that ! Or else you become a criminal who will make the front page of the newspaper.

Joshua Belmont Reese to be fair he's been exposed to some traumatizing crap and bad influences like Finn, teaching him stealing is okay. These things are affecting Daniel because of how young he is, at an age where he needs someone to look up to and act like, even if Daniel refuses to believe that himself. Of course Daniel would hate Sean in all of the endings in Episode 3, either letting Finn die or letting Daniel get shot, because he shouldn't be exposed to things like this at such a young age.

Joshua Belmont Reese I know it's just a game but I don't think letting a 9 year old get shot in the shoulder is a good lesson to teach him. He's just like Max, they've adapted their lives around their powers, but Max only used her power for less than a week, Daniel has depended on him for months. They've made him feel as if he's mature to do anything he wants, yeah it may be seen as selfish and unfair but he's still a kid and without a real father figure in his life, he still has that child mentality. Even when Sean tries to teach him morals, they don't have an effect on episode 3 as Sean isn't Esteban, he can't teach Daniel with that parental authority. Even though Sean tries, Daniel relies on him to be there, but in the time space between Episode 2 and 3 we can see Sean didn't put enough time on hold for Daniel, making him less reliant on Sean and more on people like Finn, that's why Daniel gets so emotional and intense over Finn's death. Sorry if I went a bit off topic about Daniel, I'm just really curious about how the world around him is really changing him.

Best romance option in any game i've played by far. I dont even go for women like her usually, im put off by the bad girl with tats look. But cassidy is a well done character not just visually but her character is well voice acted and written. I was aboard the lyla ship early on too lol

I find it interesting how having a perfect heist gives you a possibility to have a gun, which actually is not helping you at all, it causes even higher probability that Finn is gonna die. Cause for example me, if I had the gun I'd probably use it right away instead of discussing and Finn would be dead. Yet, I managed to save him by using power becouse that was the only action you could take if you didn't have the gun. So it's actually better if you fuck up ...

I guess the devs really like the whole 'butterfly effect' thing. I actually managed to get the gun on my first playthrough, but my way of thinking was "Wait, I don't want to turn the whole scene into a gunfight,Daniel might get injured/killed" so I went with using the power and, what do you know, Daniel got injured, lmao. At least Finn doesn't die in this scenario

Well, there is no good ending this time around. This episode I had Sean hook up with Cassidy. It's getting to the point where Daniel is turning into a huge brat either way. Yeah I understand he needs his brother, but at the same time he's gotta get under control.

Kids gotten his Father killed, Accidentally murdered a cop who Sean seems to be taking the blame for, Ruined every opportunity for a better life for the two of them, Made the audience get attached to a dog, Bites the hand that feeds him acting like a brat all episode 3, And now might have actually intentionally murdered his brother along with his brothers friends/lovers. I don't actually think Sean and company are dead, but its still kinda screwed up and I am still curious to see if any actual "Good Influences" previously made impact the final 2 episodes in regards to Daniels personality and character.

Although it does not excuses his behaviour. Daniel is angry. He's an angry little boy, who lost his house, his friends, his father (Mind you Sean did too). Both Sean and Daniel have different personalitties and it is been shown since the very beggining, that Daniel is stubborn and spoiled. He doesn't listen to Sean most of the time. Sean is more collected, though only a teenager that is still learning to handle Daniel as both his big brother and Guardian. Not to mention absolutely everything else. It must be very overwhelming. Daniel doesn't asknowledge that, which is where his entitlement comes from and also why it is frustrating for most people to see. BUT kids that have a decent enough upbringing, never know just how much their parents do for them until they are way older. I know i didn't! It was clear my mom did not had lunch just so i could have a second serving of food, but i just took *eating as much as i want* as a given, not a proviledge provided by my mom out of her own sacrifice. So for Daniel, these things were just a given. Now in a completely extreme different situation he doesn't cope well. And all of Sean's efforts go, for the most part, ignored by Daniel. I understand the reason of his bad behaviour, i do not justify it. But i did get attached to that little brat and will play this game in earnest to help the two brothers. And Sean help Daniel to be better.

Daniel was amazing in episodes 1 and 2. He was so adorable, innocent, and creative and just wanted to do childish stuff that kids do. But having your dad die, having to hide, and having to work in a terrible place in the woods after living a normal life definitely has a mental effect on you. I still love Daniel. People saying they hate Daniel would probably not be saying that if they went through the same thing he went through. What would you all do if your parents dies, and you had to flee from the cops, have to deal with a strict sibling, and have to work at a terrible, illegal place in the woods with so many bad influences around you? I get why you all think the fact that Daniel dislikes Sean going with his friends is poor writing, but he's a kid. He wants his brother to hang out with him because that's literally his only family besides his mother. So I feel like since Sean was always gone with Cassidy and the others, he was using Finn as a replacement, and that's why he was able to throw Sean like it was nothing even after all they'd gone through together, and was so upset when Finn got killed. But this is just my opinion.

What really annoys me about this Episode is how they blatently paint the Heist as a selfish bad idea..... Anyone considered yet for episode 4, that Daniel gets put in Area 51? There going to Nevada right, where Area 51 is based, and because of Daniel's power they could treat him as "other-worldly", and thus use him to do tests on and such. I believe there's a reference to this somewhere in the episodes, where Sean tells Daniel that he doesn't want to be used as a lab-rat.

(SPOILERS) Okay, these comments have me genuinely upset over a child that doesn't actually exist. Everyone's talking about his attitude like his situation isn't the most traumatizing fucking thing. First off, he watched his father get shot the same day he discovered he has superpower. Next, his brother IMMEDIATELY flees the scene with Daniel to run from the cops. He is taught in two very drastic ways and raised by a fugitive 16 year old. He's watched his father die, he watched his brother get kidnapped, he saw his dog die, he killed a wild fucking cat with his mind, (in some playthroughs) he watched his close friend get hit by a car, he was made to work on a weed farm, then coerced to break into it before being held at gunpoint. All this while nearing puberty. And tell me again why we're calling him a little asshole and not recognizing his intense trauma given his present situation? I'll wait. Edit: I am in no way saying Sean is at fault for any of this. This country is really fucked up, especially for minorities and they were just kids. That's my point.

I know he probably didn't mean to but he did throw Daniel twice( near the beginning) and he didn't mean to THAT hard.
