The guy was very talented until gun charges and sentenced to prison for a couple of years derailed his rap career and changed his name (which is a bit Indian). Bad Boy at the time starting to go downhill in the early 2000s because Diddy signed new artists that nobody heard of. Bad Boy was not the same after Biggie was murdered and Mase left the company because the pressure for him was too much due to contract issues and mismanagement over at the label. Goes to show you why when a new artist release an album, it is a big hit. But throwing money around and releasing a second album meaning it’s not gonna sell that well and critics are going to be skeptical about your music choices.
