Huang technically has an actual voice line in gta ctw if you drown in a vehicle. He yells, "SH*T!" So we technically kinda already know how he sounds

The game at first was intentionally designed for the DS from the ground up so they were forced to what they had with limited cartridge space in 2008 it was only a year later that Rockstar ported it to other systems; they were the same thing with only difference in graphics and controls.

I personally love both games but I don't see it that way, LCS is from the 3D universe which is completely different from Chinatown Wars. I do feel however that LCS is the better version of III and has aged better as well 😅

@@brandon4391 That's true, I remember the game when it first came out as I was 11 back then, I didn't expect to be set in IV's Liberty City, I was completely blown away ! It's still amazing 15 years later that they've managed to do that, I feel CW is one of the GTA that have aged the best 😃

If going off the LifeInvader page he has in V and Lester's comments, he's retired from the criminal life as he always wanted, still lives in LC, and works as a driver for Roman's cab business. His posts seem to show he's happy, at least the vibe I get. He's finally moved on, probably relaxing with the money he achieved, and helping out Roman with his operation.

Probably the most underrated protagonist of the franchise, this guy have been through a lot of tragedies and I love that he has a sarcastic humourous attitude kind of like Roman and Niko Bellic ! I think it's funny to often see his facial expression being indifferent despite going through crazy stuffs during the storyline 😂

I pray to God every night that Rockstar games places Huang Lee into GTA VI WITH the dealing system implemented. That’s where I believe they should reveal Huang Lee and bring back Ling as his wife of a very powerful dope lord trader from China in the triads supplying you and teaching you the entire game. It makes perfect sense as many New Yorks love to come to Florida. He lived in NYC and he’s the typical G badass we all know and love.

6:31 I disagree with you there saying Haung’s character and motivation is similar to Luis Lopez I would say instead he is comparable to CJ as he comes back to the city only to get revenge on whoever murdered his family member which adds charm and engaging element to his character. Nothing tragic ever happens to Luis thus resulting him being portrayed as a generic lighthearted character compared to everyone else i would but Luis Lopez closer to Franklin. I enjoyed this video though and it was nice coming back to the game given that it was my childhood favorite. The story is underrated, I find it enjoyable and nerve-racking, with every plot twist unveiling unexpected and unnerving behavior from the antagonists. This plot-twist contrast sets the interesting tone of the game, how deceived alliances can turn into betrayals.

My main worry is returning characters being treated disrespectfully or completely 180-ing them. We all know how people hated what they did to Johnny (and some other IV characters), I'd rather not repeat that in VI. I think the only one I'd be fine is Jerry Kapowitz, the bum who ended up with the diamonds in IV. It's mentioned he's going to use them to open a liquor store and gun store in Vice City. And considering the point of everyone who touches the diamonds have something bad happen to them, I can see Jerry befallen a bad fate during VI's story or already has during the 17-year gap.

I think only the lost mc and Johnny were treated badly, other characters from gta 4 seem to be doing fine, like you can hire Packie as a gunman in heists (I always picked him) and after the big one he becomes rich asf, ULP is also the same (he survived the shoot out in cortz center) Michelle/Karen is also alive, Brucie too (he just doesn't have eyebrows anymore) I don't know why people say gta 5 treated gta 4's characters badly, most of them are doing well

You seem to have taken the different universe thing too seriously, just like those common sense lacking idiots on the GTA Fandom Wiki, but the thing is, Rockstar have been ignoring it as much as they can for many years as if it doesn't exist, and didn't say a single word about it since very long. I'm not saying that many 3D era characters will return, but they will be referenced, and some characters have already made the cut in HD games such as Lazlow, Candy Suxx, Cliff Lane and Andee from Lips 106,etc. and even some from 2D have made it to 3D in the past, since the different universe thing didn't exist until GTA 4, so everyone including Rockstar would put them in same timeline, and the main reason behind it was to explain why LC in 4 looks different from LC in 3, as well as the biggest reason being the voice actor conflict.

I could see them saying something vague reference to Tommy Vercetti. Like they did with the Grove Street Famlies in V. They won't mention Tommy by name and they won't act like VC happened 1:1 in HD verse, but there might be something like "This guy came down from up north and established one of the most powerful drug empires in Vice City during the mid-1980s." And maybe brief speculation by some characters where this guy is now, like Franklin and Lamar did for the GSF.

But regarding the whole separate universe thing, I think Rockstar have silently abandoned it as if it never existed, because the references they make to the older games really give the feeling that the events of the older games truly happened, and they haven't spoken a single word about it in so many years, let alone giving a reference to it. But that doesn't mean that they would come and say ‘Fans, we have abandoned the universes thing we brought many years ago. Events of the older games definitely happened in newer ones and it's the same timeline, old characters don't return because it's our choice and that of their voice actors, so please, don't believe in it, we ourselves don't like it.’ because the biggest (not the only) reason behind it was the voice actor conflict, and many fans might force them to bring them back.

@@akiluro2981 CJ's not dead, though, and he was still being advertised in Easter eggs. If you're going off of the LCS cover where it mentions Toni killing a gangster, hence why he returned to Liberty City six or four years later, it's not CJ.

@@twinberwolves4231 I never referred to LCS at all. CJ was written out of the Canon, since Easter Eggs are not canon. Means CJ does currently (like Claude and Tommy) not exist on the HD Universe. And R* pretty much confirmed that multiple times since Characters from the 3D Era can’t crossover when they actually appeared there, means, people like Lazlow that stayed off cam, can crossover to the HD Universe. If there is a reference to OG Loc, Claude or Tommy, CJ, Tony, Vic, they all completely new characters. (I say mentions! Not Easter Eggs! Easter Eggs are literally like the Hidden Snow Man or the Breaking Bad Paul Arron Face at Mount Chilliad that had to be replaced.)

I think Jimmy/Tracey, maybe even Fabien, are pretty safe assumptions. I'd also say Simeon, although a pretty small chance, along with U.L. Paper Agent. I wouldn't expect any previous protagonists to make a return though.
