They had a serious lack of promotion for a group backed by a global household name. I only learned about JJCC through Prince Mak's appearance on SBS PopAsia.

When combined, it is literally "Jackie Chan Joint Cultures" (JJCC) translated to "Jackie Chan, let's spread K-Pop". In the same way, the pronunciation of the group name (Double-JC) stands for "Double Joy Creative" or "Let's create double the joy".

I faintly remember a video by prince mak explaining what bothered him about being in the group and that they just wouldn't make any profit and each one's debt would only increase

Lol and back in 2016 when I found them and showed them to my mom we were talking about whether it was "Jackie Chan Jackie Chan"(mom) or "Jackie Jackie Chan Chan"(me). Glad to find out we were both wrong lol. To be fair, I was ten at the time.

I miss them. I seriously wish they would have a come back. I heard that Jackie Chan isn't liked that much in China anymore as he is the west. I don't really know the reason why though.
