I yawned right along with him and I've already had my morning coffee! 😂😂 So glad that Lakota recovered from the puncture wound. You had a lot of nursing and rehab work with that injury. Good example of how expensive it can be to own a horse as well as all the extra work involved when they are sick or injured. Horse ownership is a huge commitment, just like having children. But like children, in my opinion, both are a gift from God and should receive unconditional love and care. You are great parents to your horses and your children. That's why I love you both, even though I don't know you personally.😊❤

I think both Boots and Lakota are REALLY handsome horses. I hope they both have good long lives as geldings---being riding horses or whatever. I bet Lakota had a lot more memories of stress associated with all his vet visits last Autumn. You guys are miracle workers! I totally believe in the POWER of Prayer along with the medical procedures. We all need God's help to heal.

It was so sweet that Oliver’s presence was so calming to Lakota. It is good to remember that Lakota was more resistant to the drugs in case he ever needs another procedure. He will probably always be that way. Thank you for all the time & energy that you put into sharing your lives with us!

@bernadettecartin10 ай бұрын
Agreed. I commented a couple of weeks ago that they really need to find out how he'll react to drums, like marching band drums. A lot of horse people who are putting their horse in a parade for the first time totally overlook how much drums freak a lot of horses out, until their horse is all over the place.

What a great back story on Lakota ! PTL! Glad he and Boots came thru the process fine. Oliver is such a wonderful uncle figure to the foals and he will be a great daddy! What a heart warmer! I have read that they grow till they are 5 years old, so while he had that gut wrenching set back at a year and a half, I am confident he will more than make up for the lost growth time. Not that huge-ness is the focus, his health and wellbeing is. Just commenting that he has two more years of growth to come. Interesting video. There is always more to learn about the world of horse's.👍👍💕💕
