It definitely helps to have one of the team who knows what she's doing. I have no doubt that Beauty's experience with teamwork will help teach Oliver. Oliver and Champ are both newbies to team-pulling. Hopefully, one day they'll become a team to be reckoned with!

You walk (or run) ahead and beside the horses for so many of the videos. You work hard to bring us these wonderful videos and I want you to know how much I appreciate you. JR really found a true help mate/team mate when he found you. The two of you definitely pull the load evenly just like Oliver and Beauty are learning to do. What an incredible video. The horses did so good together. It makes me realize that rural America dwellers used to hear the familiar sounds of horses working and pulling all the time. In the modern day, we have lost the memory of all the specific sounds that go with a two-horse hitch pulling a sled down a forest path-like the sound of hooves meeting the ground, the jingling of the harness, the rhythmical nature of the whole experience. People used to take those sounds for granted, and now we don’t even realize that we are missing hearing them. Pulling through that heavy slush is a lot harder than pulling over colder snow. Emery, your camera work is nothing short of beautiful. You really have a knack for how to frame a picture and how to tell a story. I had to laugh that your braking system is for Emery to put her foot down. I’ll bet you’re right leg was sore the next day, Emery!

Yes he did! I'm thinking that part of it might be because Oliver is more familiar with "come by" and "away", the terms he was taught for right and left. As opposed to Beauty most likely being taught "gee" and "haw" - the traditional terms. It might still be a little confusing to her, but thanks to Oliver's strong and sure guidance, she's catching on! 🎉🥰😍🛷🐎 And of course there's JR, constantly assuring them both. 🥰🙏💕💖 It was so much fun for me - I feel very blessed to be part of this community. 🙏💝🙏

Oh my gosh you all took my breath away with this video! I have no appropriate words for what you have showed us! I love watching Husky dogs pulling sleds through the snow in winter. My son has two Huskies but they see very little snow. I don't know why but seeing working animals doing what they are meant to do warms my heart when they are being treated with kindness and UNDERSTANDING! And in snow? My grandparents were from Sweden/Finland, my maiden name is Nordblom. Thank you so much for this video!

Seeing them pull together gave a very nostalgic emotion and sentiment. They did very well together in a somewhat challenging ride. It was fun on our end of the camera😁. Emeri, I would have had to keep from squealing with anxiety too. But I bet in retrospect, it was really fun doing that. Even though it does not feel like it, the winter will be gone before we know it. The little "beater"sled is doing a great job, but I think you will need a new one for next winter. 👍
