This is why college players who are 1st rounders should not play bowl games, it’s too risky. Feel bad for him, he was gonna be a 1st rounder with a decent rookie contract and would’ve gotten experience if he played his rookie year.

Matt has huge talent. It’s too bad he’s out of the league. But I guess he left the Patriots by going AWOL, resigned to the practice squad, then was gone again. But I’d imagine playing for Bill Bellichick is no picnic. Maybe he and Bellichick clashed?

I also heard that he had some mental health struggles while with the patriots that he knew he couldn’t continue in the NFL with. I feel something similar to Manziel but without the crazy partying haha
