About 4 Year's later and I'm still looking back at this damn channel. Watching all their batman gameplays over and over again since they were my favorite. What can I say that I haven't before? If there's a game I like from the last 11 years it's probably because I watched you guys play it first. I grew up sort of poor and couldn't afford a new console (I was still rocking an original Xbox until 2011) so the only way I could experience new games was with you. I found you through Sleeping Dogs, which became one of my favorite open-world games once I finally got my hands on it. After that I tore into the backlog. Watching Tom struggle through the Dark Souls trilogy and come out triumphant finally gave me the courage to do it myself and "Take this you hippo f***!" is probably the hardest I've ever laughed in my life. Your Shadow of Mordor playthrough was what got me to give LotR a try (Star Wars kid here) and now I love it, RIP Rash the Assassin. Same goes for Uncharted. Growing up with Xbox I probably never would have played it but seeing how epic and emotional A Thief's End was made me want to get a PS4 just for that. And of course thanks to Ray for teaching me how to make a turkey sandwich. I could go on and on but, I just want to say, whatever you guys do in the future, I hope you know how much this meant to us, and I'll still be going back to watch old playthroughs for as long as this KZbin thing is around.

One of the first channels I ever truly went to for walkthroughs of new games was Media Cows. One of the last ones I watched was the Assassin's Creed: Revelations walkthrough, and I first started with the non-commentated walkthroughs, I think Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was the first ever. Some of my fondest memories are back from the days of watching Dewie and Ray play Assassin's Creed Revelations and so many other games that came out around that time that I couldn't yet play. The fact that you came back and made this video says alot. You sucked up your emotions, and held back tears just to tell us you've been struggling. But hey, we all struggle man, it's understandable to some and relatable to others. I've been homeless going on about a year and a half now, and I went to the same place when I wasn't able to see my first and only kid born. It's never a bad thing to step away from something, sometimes you have to take a step back to take a breather and see the whole picture. But the difference is when you take a few more steps back to get yourself ready for the monumental leap you have to take to overcome those struggles. You may even trip and fall, but your fans your TRUE fans, will always be there to help you up and take that leap right along side you. You'll always have supporters even if you don't see them they're there, you just have to let them know you need help.

When I was first properly introduced to Batman and the Arkham series, I wanted to watch a lot of the fun gameplays with funny commentaries. That was when I stumbled across this channel. It was Arkham Asylum or City or both and I fell in love with it. I started watching the channel on my grandma's iPad and then on mine. There would be days where I sometimes remember the days where I come home from school just to nap and watch the videos over and over and over again until the iPad dies. When the first lockdown started, I had changed schools and I remembered The Media Cows. I remembered that I wanted to be like them. I went on to my computer just to revisit the good times in this passed few years watching these videos while something is going on in the real world. Almost like a comfortable escapism. I pictured myself bumping into Tom, Zach or Zack, Raymond and Dewey. It is because of this channel I had a fun childhood. When my dad got me a PS4 I immediately got Batman Arkham Knight. When I would be stuck in a mission I would watch a Media Cows video for help to see how they did it. Later I decided to start a KZbin channel. These guys and my friends are the reason I am a KZbinr. It really sucks to see the channel not make any videos, but hey, at least they made us laugh and we enjoyed their content and still do. I realized I wrote an essay better than my school essays.

This channel along with Mahalo Video Games (with Andrea Rene on camera), TheRadBrad (still alive) and the old Darksydephil were the most relevant channels in the gaming community when KZbin was a baby. I myself was heavily involved in this culture, amassing 100,000 subscribers until now in my channel thanks to making Hitler Rant Parodies in Spanish in 2011. Simpler times indeed; when unforgettable video games hit the market like Skyrim, Battlefield 3, L.A. Noire, Portal 2 or Uncharted 3. Times flies but I’m grateful that it happened. Love from Chile!
