I am so glad that you returned the bag, at this price point it truly has to a perfect bag and experience. That certain reissue was not meant to be, but I know you will find a flawless one if you want to give it another try. No transaction should have that many obstacles. This is not a cheap item. Thanks for sharing your story! So frustrating when dealing with reps over phone. Had to call back 4 times to get a mail order prescription error resolved after being assured by rep each time error was corrected. Curious if your reissue fell forward when empty or full and if chain was forward or backward. Just purchased one in last few months and mine fell forward also. Thought it would drive me crazy. However, problem resolved itself after using it a couple of weeks. I think the rounded bottom got trained as the weight of items inside flattened the bottom with use. Chain also has to to backward. Now been a few months and chain no longer needs to go forward and back stays up. Thank goodness!!

Sometimes we have to keep it all in perspective. I certainly have a cap on what I can spend on bags. My husband would say my cap is $0!!!!! But I would never spend $5900 on a bag. My one and only chanel bag was a splurge and even the alma pm I picked up from you was a big expense. The bags are expensive and for what we spend we should have flawless bags. Your collection is amazing and you certainly shouldn’t settle on an imperfect piece. Glad you were able to return it! Enjoy your awesome collection!!!

Oh gosh, I just love your attitude and how we are both alike on negativitities situation! I love unboxing luxury items, inspecting it, and take photos to post on my instagram, surely I'll be keeping what I'm happy with. I hate the hassle and returning anything becus that's not who I am! I was on vacation and catching up with my videos. OMG! you are very classy but I did not know the extent of your patience. With this type of treatment, I would have changed my mind, even if the bag was perfect. I would rather wait and buy this either preloved (if I am so much in love) or get it in Europe. I always prefer to buy things in Europe because I get the newest styles and get my taxes back. I am so happy you returned the bag. As you said, you have multiple luxury bags and do not need to pay a lot of money and be treated so poorly. Blessing to you..

Shopping math 😂 I’m sorry this was way more difficult than it should have been! Some stores are horrible about transferring inventory according to my SA. Hopefully you can use your usual SA when ones avail in your boutique. I’m faithful to my SA and if she can’t get things then I take it as a sign because she has moved mountains with certain boutiques. 12k points adds up! My reissue also never flopped forward.

Even if everything had worked out that bag would always have a bad memory attached to it. I got rid of a lot of things in my closet that reminded me of bad things/experiences. I suggest everyone do the same! Don't wear negativity!

I love your truly opinion. I have similar experience with you but with my boy bag after I bought about 6 months the brushed gold hardware starts tarnishing I can't use with my light tops at all .End up with sent to check and repair it took 2 and a half months. After I have received my bag I was so excited but still stressful I saw a leather strap was soooo soft and had wrinkles a long the leather which is my fault didn't check properly before pick up the bag. Few days later I had to go back to the boutique again to seek how they gonna do it. At this time I want to get credit back because I don't want to wait for repairing again. But a manager came over and spoke to me she can't do it has to be send to repair but she will look after my case and get it ASAP. I'm not sure now I'm still want to buy Chanel anymore but I love Chanel. I feel like the bag over $7000 AUD didn't bring joyful to use not fair at all.Sorry for the long story

My reissue doesn’t do that with things inside but stuffed with a light pillow it does. My issue is that I’m not getting the same feeling as I do with my classic flaps, not sure why.

I bought a WOC from Chanel and noticed after going to wear it for the first time, that it had a loose thread on the back pocket. I took it into the store and they took it into the back and trimmed it, came back to me and asked me if that was better...WTH, are you kidding?! No! If anything you made it easier to unravel! So I asked them send it off to get fixed. So disappointed with the brand.

I am hearing a lot of stories of issues with quality. As more and more people have the ability to purchase high end designer bags the quality has gone down, maybe due to demand. High demand is probably the reason they raised the price. Yet I am surprised at the quality. I wonder would anyone who is a novice even notice the panel is defective since it doesn't sit right. Something was off. I have heard it with LV and I am surprised with Chanel. I worked in a LV salon and we would get defective merchandise, and were always careful to look over and examine it, then ship it back if it was defective. They should have caught that. I am surprised at their customer service, usually they have someone track and follow up. They lost a customer haggling over and issue that should have been fixed immediately. Glitch or not they should have handled it immediately.

I really think you should have filled out the survey or write a letter to that boutique. Many times the right hand doesn’t communicate with the left hand and a well written letter with specific complaints can help them and future customer down the road to not have the same experience.

The reissue is not a structured bag and due to how its made, it will fall forward, especially if it's brand new. This is not a defect, perfectly normal. It was made to store flat. You can train it to sit up, but it will still lean forward. I have one as well and just love it.

This is definitely unexperience customer service(awful). About the reissue bag, because the bottom of the bag is not flat it can’t stand on the table. I even storage the reissue bag on the soft tissue and keep the bottom rounded. I saw people flat the reissue bag bottom on KZbin video, it wasn’t the right way to use this bag.

Just on a side note, Chanel SA’S are really bad everywhere. They are good till they can walk with you to the till, if you are browsing, then you get a cold shoulder. Speaking from experience. Its not possible to buy everytime.... atleast not for me. Money has to be spent wisely and where you really want to. Nobody should intimidate us even if we are browsing because it most probably means we are saving up for the one that makes “throw confetti around the house”😂
