To Simply, I hope you see this! The "mystery rashes" on your eyes are quite probably a different manifestation of your eczema. I get eczema as well, and one of the types I get the most is a red (occasionally scaly) rash just under my brows. p.s If it starts to burn I find that a cold smooth surface; I usually put a clean spoon in the fridge and use the back of it against my eye, works wonders, at least for a little bit. I hope this helped!!!

As a former nail tech (I had to quit due to scoliosis) the nail drill is for acrylic or sculpted nails only. Not your natural nails (even with polish) for this very reason. I was very worried as well. Whole time I was like 😦 and when she actually got to her nail I winced. Typically if you stay in the same spot with it for too long or go too deep it causes your nail to feel like it’s on fire and damages it. Idk how she wasn’t in pain.

Hi Cristine, when taking normal air dry polish off try keeping the cotton with the acetone on your whole nail for a bit and swipe sidewall to sidewall. It'll be a lot easier. For several layers of air dry polish, I would suggest CAREFULLY filing off the topcoat (shiny layer) :-) and then wiping from sidewall to sidewall as I mentioned earlier. Also, non-acetone should be fine for just air dry polish. Pure acetone is used to remove gel polish, gel nails, and acrylics. I'm an esthetician so listen to me if you want. Hope your nails are doing good

Oh I wanted to do that years ago but I tried with a pin, and it split the little part of the nail from the hole to the end. I thought it was because I did it on my natural nails and not acrylics like I'd seen, but since you made it work au natural, I'm not sure if I was too close to the edge or if the pin was a bad idea. A thick layer of nail polish could've helped, I think had bare nails when I tried. Any tips for when I try again? hahaha
@becauseimafan
@becauseimafan 3 жыл бұрын
@@JasminMiettunen I'm no expert, but I think a big part of it is actually *the pin* you pushed through. The way filing or drilling works is it removes the product/whatever you're drilling as you go, and it doesn't use much pressure and force to do that. It's like if you've ever used a hammer and nails and tried to hammer a thin part of wood at the end, and it splits. There's grain in wood just like in your nails, so be even more careful the thinner your nail becomes (so slow down and lighten pressure to not break the nail as you go). If you've ever broken a nail you can see the grain if you look real close and up against a light (on naked nails, no product or polish).
