I have a theory that gel wouldn’t have lasted as long, even though it’s stronger. Gel takes months to budge on my toes, but once it starts to lift it just pops off like a press on nail. There’s no way it would last me a year.

The gel polish on my toenails actually came off faster than regular nail polish. I think it lasted about a week and a half to two weeks, same as on my fingernails. Regular polish lasts over a month on my toes.

Story time nobody asked for. When a was a little younger, my dads friend saw that my toenails were painted black. He told me that if I got hurt, the paramedics would look at my toes, see that they were black, think I wasn’t getting blood circulation to my toes and then would drill a hole in the toenail to get blood flow back to them. He was a lil drunk but it scarred me for a little while.
