@@lakelifeandbeyond Thank you! Like last year, wildfire smoke is altering our sunrise and sunsets to make them fairly dramatic. I’m just happy to have my seadoo back in working order now that the cracked intake manifold was replaced

@@a.m.creativ My GTR just hit 60 hrs. I’m going to knock on wood, but it’s ran flawlessly. I added a cold air intake and catch can at the beginning of the season.

@@lakelifeandbeyond Great upgrades! I haven’t added a catch can yet, but I did check all my charge pipes and my intercooler a few days ago and there is no oil buildup. I’d love an intake, cold air and exhaust.

@@a.m.creativ my intercooler was clean as well when I checked it at the beginning of the season, but my intake pipe was coated in oil from the vapors.

Glad you got it fixed! There is a company that sells a brace to keep the intake from flexing.

@@lakelifeandbeyond I’ll be putting a girdle on it for sure. I’m not even modified or producing anymore than stock 14 psi boost. But it’s a common problem.

@@a.m.creativ our GTX 170 has vibration issues that comes and goes. I’m thinking there might be an alignment problem.

@@lakelifeandbeyond Is it only at idle? Or take off? At speed? Sometimes fouled spark plugs can cause rough idle/vibration. I have fouled an awful amount of spark plugs this year. Perhaps a bad batch from NGK. Did you check the pump over thoroughly to make sure there is nothing in it?

@@a.m.creativ at idle and Adam says when he hits a wave it feels like a motor mount is loose. The dealer looked at it and the engine is tight on its mounts. They even changed the plugs at 2 hrs. I got on it and rode it and didn’t feel any of it when I was on it.

@@lakelifeandbeyond I will feel that from time to time when coming out of the water or when you first come back down. I will also get a vibration on idle if I’ve been riding hard all day, it’s hot and I’m cruising into a marina. But if goes away after it’s cooled down.
