one time i took my new jet ski out on the lake and got half way to my destination, and unbeknownst to me, the jet ski was taking on water in the back, and suddenly it tanked and flipped and sank! it then took off as the motor was still running too! Lucky I was wearing a life vest, but the freezing cold water put me into shock immediately! I really love JET SKYING, but this is one thing I would never recommend doing on long hauls without a second SKIER! These things will take on water and sink in a HEARTBEAT!

That's a nice little run.. I've owned a couple of Seadoo's. First one was a 900cc triple 4 stroke. It would seat 3 also. The other one was a smaller 2 stroke twin. I miss them. Hello from S. Oregon. I live by a nice sized lake. Lost Creek.. The infamous Rogue River (215 miles long) that drains into the ocean. I'm a trucker and have been to Key west (off duty\bobtaling) Also stopped at a quiescent dive ctr and went for a boat ride and did some SCUBA diving. Got to touch a Nurse shark that found me interesting. haha.. the feeling was mutual. Turn your gas can sideways and add another one.

so is there a map of florida waterways that denote no wake? I was always under the assumption that inside any bay or waterway to a bridge that opens to open water was no wake until you get out into the open ocean.
@MiamiLiving3057 ай бұрын
The channels markers tell you where the no wake zone is. Some areas are no wake zone and other day resume safe operation some even say no wake zone from April -Sep

Mannn been wanting to take that trip. Question i saw you crossed biscayne national park. Arent they prohibited to use PWC ?
@MiamiLiving3057 ай бұрын
They are banned in the park but I would have acted stupid if stopped because having to go a few miles offshore to then turn back to miami is pretty ridiculous imo

Why do you have a big assed lifted 4x4 when you live at Sea level and an overpass is "your" mountain down there?? Just curious.

FYI - Personal watercraft are prohibited in Biscayne National Park (South Biscayne Bay) and most of Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (where much this video is fillmed) which is why no other personal watercraft are seen south of government Cut. Do your homework, the FWC will issue fines for PWC.
@MiamiLiving3054 ай бұрын
I was aware of the National park boundaries but I was not about I ride 10 miles offshore to then come back into Miami from the keys so I would have happy taken the fine and kept it going!

FYI- Police have been using u-tube video’s to charge individuals committing illegal acts that they filmed themselves doing. The police don’t have to be there to charge you and they use your own video against you in court. Stay safe…..

Yes of course but I did not commit any crimes in this video so not sure what they can use here?

@MiamiLiving305 no PWCs are allowed in Biscayne National Park. Freaking bummer as I've always wanted to go to Elliot Key
