I do the same and I always find people, but I'm not some passive guy that expects others to show for me without me showing for them i.e. starting races, chest runs, portals. You go way farther with "group LF X" than "X LF group".@@Tsunamiieh

The player base is upset that delayed a launch. Which the player base tested and complained that there were fixes that needed to be made. I’ll wait for a new season to maybe have a balanced game and not get locked down by 5 sns/spear players or have half an opr team trying to take down a 700 con tank.

I tried the new movement and my leaping strikes and skewers were all over the place. Luckily you can load the PTR and change settings while the server itself is offline. I feel they aimed big and fell short for their overhaul. This is gaming reality now. Rushed then delayed.

Yeah I'm not giving them another chance to let me down. Even if the game gets amazing content I just don't trust them anymore. They're just going to keep letting me down over and over, I rather just play something else.

We're cross server 3v3 and a new pvp mode away from this game being the perfect game for pvp! I really just don't understand why arena isn't cross server yet, makes no sense to me. With that being said, give me cross server 3v3 and give me another pvp variant/an active open world pvp zone and take my money. It's that simple to me.

They took stats at the beginning of the expansion and found only 20% of the player base was pvp. So now they focus on pve mainly. That being said the stats were taken when the expansion dropped so no one was lvl 65 and everyone was farming artifacts in the dungeons 😂

So sad to see New World like this. There is so many quality games that came out recently and are upcoming. Gonna be hard for new world to take attention from the new hot games. I feel the gaming player base is changing and no longer wants the 1000+ hour games. They are ok with 50-100 hours games that get content updates couple times a year and they can switch from game to game.

Hmmm not sure about that I think maybe gaming playerbase is splitting. Because WOW SOD is so awesome and is catering to that crowd who DO want to grind 1000's of hours into a game and don't want that instant anything. Maybe New World is trying too hard to please both.

To get the game prepared for console launch, while also changing the gameplay mechanics like what we saw in the PTR, it has to be a massive amount of work which is highly complicated. Lack of transparency, pvp content and the destruction of the marketplace since the big update, really hurt this game. Sad to see man.

Its not just the silence, its the tone deaf, “spit in your face” actions like a 20min lore video or re-released skins in the cash shop. Its like they’ve given up on their PC players and only care about console, the next cash grab, before sunsetting the game after all bugs are documented for the LOTR release

i may be in the minority here but this game was better before they added all these artifacts. In fact, this game was actually best pre season 1, when everything was good, Bruisers were godlike, hatchet assassins were godlike, everything was balanced and light armor didn't suck back then.

Hey Kris. I was big on the copium but have just completely lost my faith in the devs. On a positive note I think have a hunch they are considering this as a hard reset. Recoding the whole thing as they have mentioned then will release it on console get a huge influx of players and hopefully the PC players will come back with them. Then they'll pump content with the new code as they have mentioned in other videos that they'll be able to pump content with the new code. So the game has legs. On a negative note I have just lost my faith in the devs. I mean they told us they'll give us a roadmap for 2024 in May and now it's pushing back to June/July. What dev would think this is a good idea? They're just so incompetent. So my assumption is that it's not that they don't care about the game long term but they've kind of given up in the short term while they fix it then hope they can turn it around. I'm playing WOW haha.

Honestly, ditch New World and try your luck somewhere else. AGS dont deserve you, or anyone else the way they are treating their customers and their game. I understand people are saying "It has potential though!" and "there is nothing else like it" Well tough luck lads, they clearly dont know how to fix it - they've had years now, and its barely gotten better. Why torture yourselves.

As much as I think Scott is just a terrible leader and needs to be replaced, I still somehow have hope for the game. Lovan said a couple things on reddit yesterday that gave a little bit of copium. I’m still hoping they can pull off a one Tamriel like event but my faith in them is at an all time low

Many complain there is no new content, but i complain the current content is dead. Every time I try the searching tool to look for a party to do dungeons I can wait forever that it finds no one. Even with cross servers. If I want to grind to get an artifact weapon it takes forever to find people who wants to do the same. Sometimes I have to try many days. Races? Wars? I did some races or wars but for me is not an activity I feel me comfortable to do, since it is very unorganised and sometimes weird. OPR? this is the activity with less quality in the complete game at all levels: fun, rewards, balance and etc. Is a complete disaster in every aspect. Chest runs and portals are the only things I find place but are brainless activities. They are there to only make some gold and materials. Crafting? Only for richs and very dedicated people. Play different builds to experiment and don't get bored? Only if you accept to play with items with GS lower than 700 and a with maximum of 2 perks of 3 that are what you need, with the third perk being something random that has nothing to with your build. The other option is buy gold in Internet and buy your items in the AH. The only problem is that the population is so low that the AH right now has nothing. From the other side this is also another cons in the game. Players can not fulfil their desire to have a 100% finished build or builds by playing just the game as it is. Another thing is the crazy amount of gold to change perks or upgrade a single part. Crazy. This made me remember another thing. The expensive faction rewards are. 5k, 15k or 20k for things that sometimes are just cosmetics. For me the gold is so hard to farm and valuable that I spend 0 gold in things I don't need. So what is the point of playing this game if the current content is a waste of time? I think AGS needs to really change this game radically.

You and the other 20 other players like it maybe, but there is a whole other number of players NOT playing it exactly because the potential never translates into the game. What he states tends to be more of a fact than an opinion.

One of my favorite games that had all the potential in the world. They should have made this a PvP exclusive game like they originally were. The pve is awful and for some reason they focused on that. PvP players just wanted new maps some weapon balance changes but got neglected since the game has been out. Sad to say but new world is done and the devs know it, will still log in to play ever now and then but there’s no direction or will never be solid change it’s been 2 years.

After seeing that they've made paid build sets and paid transmog, I've directly unistalled the game and swore to never come back to it until this changes. It's not like this game has lot of content anyway. Even the added dj finder is weirdly done. I'm a PVP player aswell, to me, ESO WAS the one to play, they also fucked up pretty hard and now honestly, GW2 was something I didn't try and damn it's very very good for PVP.
