I used to hate rattler, but from what I’ve heard the entire OU situation has humbled him and he’s been a model teammate at SC. I think he needs to come back for a year because the SC offense is finally in a spot where he can shine. They could be even better next year with rattler at the helm

Oklahoma fan here…the Rat has the most beautiful release and ball I have seen. He buckled under psi and would fall down if bumped. His ego was off the charts…he has that it factor but needs to humble himself to realize his true potential.

I think the whole Oklahoma benching debacle really made him mature a lot. Definitely an unpolished product but I think under the right coaching he could really turn into an NFL level Quarterback. What happened is he had accuracy issues, and scheme issues, he took a really really really good ou team and almost lost alot of games they shouldve absolutely blown out but had to be bailed out by defense. They eventually lost a few games and williams came in and looked better the normal OU QB thing happened and he transfered. He was pretty good at south Carolina but had blairing issues, he might nake a roster as a backup though, never know

Rattler being bad, and LR being a bad HC aren’t mutually exclusive. LR is a great offensive mind, who has worked with 5 starting QBs. 3 won the Heisman, 1 was runner up (Hurts), and one was a failure. You can’t make excuses for the rat when he had one of the best QB coaches of all time coaching him and he still sucked. On that same page, being a great O mind and great QB coach doesn’t equal a great HC… This is common sense.
