What Happened To The 2007 NBA Draft?

On June 28th, 2007 the Portland Trail Blazers selected Greg Oden with the first overall pick despite leaving one of the best scorers of our lifetime on the board waiting. Today we cover what happened to almost every pick in this draft class and what happened during their NBA careers.

Greg Oden's best game was in his "2nd year of playing" 2009-01-19. +27 plus/minus, 24 pts, 15 rebs, 2 blk on 64% shooting. Seeing this really makes you think what would happen if he didn't get injured by having one leg longer than the other.

KD’s development didn’t surprise anyone, he might have out performed his expectations but people definitely saw his potentials. With that said, Oden was the consensus #1 on everyone’s board. He was that good!

I watched that 2007 draft and I don't blame the Blazers for picking Oden. They didn't have a solid center and Brandon Roy was playing his mind out. Picking Kevin Durant didn't make sense because Roy and him would have to battle for minutes.

I'm glad the warriors lost to Toronto. Kd couldn't win without the warriors. The Warriors won without kd, case and point 2014-15. The saga between the warriors and lebron would have been more entertaining without Durant. Durant should have joined Kawhi or Tatum. Or Miami with Butler. He's not gonna win another title with a teammate like Harden or Kyrie Irving. And if his injuries persist, his career will be cut short, but hopefully that doesn't happen, but his legacy has become a story of being unable to win a title without being on the warriors. Thus far
