As a Sixers fan it really pains me about the Lavine pick. We needed to get a scoring G next to Joel & Zach looked to fit the bill but instead we went Saric instead. Imagine if the Sixers added LaVine next to Joel, wouldve given them the 3 level scoring punch they desperately needed for years that Maxey just now is filling.
@mrvk3910 ай бұрын
far more painful was 1 not picking Tatum and 2 drafting Okafor instead of Booker or KP
@Ash-zx5wu10 ай бұрын
@@mrvk39 Tatum was going to the Celtics, they wanted a wing & saw Brown as a SG so thats out. But the Okafor pick was indefensible. 3 top 10 pick bigs in 3 drafts? I assumed we'd sell him to the Magic or kings & take KP, Mudiay or Winslow. Booker wasnt even a starter & really only the Suns saw him as a lottery pick. Was surprised Oubre went so low tbh. KP i was low key high on because of his fit next to Joel/Noel because he could move on the perimeter some & the game was shifting toward spacing bigs. In an alternative reality we dont trade for Tobias & dont even deal down for Zhaire Smith because we have the draft assets to get another star or two because of the wasted top picks. Fultz I thought would be a star, he redid his entire jumper & actually looks good now when healthy. Unfortunately for him his body just hasnt held up in the NBA. Imagine a lineup of Joel/ Thomas Bryant or Hartstein, KP/Kuzma ( we had the pick before him), Simmons/Bridges, LaVine & Brogdon or DeJounte Murray ( we took TLC Korkmaz over them) maybe both. The Process Sixers are a whole what if draft unto themselves.
@mrvk3910 ай бұрын
@@Ash-zx5wu I am not 100% sure they would've taken him with the 1st pick. Fultz was a consensus #1 pick. but yeah, Booker wasn't seen as a top pick. KP was a good fit next to Embiid, but that injury would've still derailed him for years. But yeah.. the Process netted Philly great picks but they just fumbled it with everything but Embiid and Maxey.

Raptors fan here. I think GS has good chance of re-signing Pascal of all the rumoured teams. Nice weather, gets to play with Steph, great spacing. For those worried about pascal’s ruining the spacing, he has a very good mid range game and his 3pt % this season is misleading. Offense was terrible win Vanvleet’s departure and new coach. Since trading for IQ, pascal is 8 of 13 in 4 games. Realistically Pascal is probably a 33-34% 3pt shooter at best, not gonna lie. BUT we don’t want Wiggins lol. Canadian or not, revoke this man’s passport. Rather have Paul and waive him. If we can’t have Kuminga, I’d gladly take Pod and Moody. But I don’t think GS does that.
