Chris Kamen looked so out of place in that all star game. Dude was running in slow motion compared to everyone else.

And then he went and averaged 20+ points per game while being super minutes limited...

As a Kentucky fan I will never understand how people didn’t see SGA as better. I was for sure he would go top 5. And I thought the Knox pick was so bad I was like he’s Daniel Orton 2.0

LOL, 50-100 years from now no one will remember linsantiy bro. Heck most fans already forgot about it. 50-100 years from now Jordan, Lebron, Curry people will know about, kind of how we know about Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain, but linsanity, nah. :)

Not mentioning Bismack Biyombo’s insane 2016 playoff run is really bad work. That’s the sole reason he got that massive contract and you just chose to not even give it one single mention… lazy

It’s funny how Fultz only stayed as a prospect and never got to his potential to be one of the best out of this draft😂

The biggest misconception that many casual fans have about Jeremy Lin is that he was some sort of high-IQ, smart, good shooter PG. In reality, he was the opposite. He was an extremely athletic guard who had one of the fastest first-steps in the entire league and was absolutely a force when driving to the basket, but actually had quite a lot of turnovers. It must be said that this was definitely due to people following racial stereotypes of Asians being smart but not athletic. The biggest piece of evidence that could tell you this was the real Jeremy Lin was the fact that his injuries completely tanked him out of the league. If he was a high-IQ type passer like Chris Paul, or good shooter like Steph, he would not be out of the league at 31 after a few injuries. He was much more like Derrick Rose, relied on athleticism but killed by injuries.

The 2013 NBA draft is easily the worst NBA draft in history.

I wouldn't go that far. At least that year's draft had Giannis. The 2000 Draft is the worst in my opinion.

No, it still had Victor oladipo giannis Dennis And a couple other standouts later in the draft it easily has to go to the year 2000

Title is confusing. What's the reason? How did bennet become a random legend? If lin is the basis, THAT is a legend. Ball did not even make it to NBA.

I'm glad Magic went for Banchero rather than Jabari Smith. Jabari always felt like a 6'11 Klay Thompson rather than an actual franchise player like Paolo. Both went to franchises that fit them

as a pacers fan. WE HAVE NO FORGOTEN ABOUT MATHURIN. He’s most definitely in our plans for the future and he’s arguably our best scorer besides siakam
@hollandaster8230
@hollandaster8230 Ай бұрын
yeah the dude who made the video is just someone who clearly doesn’t watch the Pacers or doesn’t care to even just look at how the roster is constructed to see clearly Mathurin is essential to the future of the franchise. But casuals talking out of their ass about small market teams they don’t know squat about isn’t new sadly. I’m excited to see Hali, Mathurin, Nesmith, Siakam, and Turner starting together, next year is gonna be fun.

the Mathurin take is so fucking weird to me, why do you think he’s on the outside looking in when he was a crucial part of the pacers in the first half??? Nembhard really stepped up especially down the stretch but i don’t see how Mathurin will be “forgotten” as it seems like he’s the 2 going forward. There aren’t that many guards on the roster.

No one actually thought Jabari Smith was the first pick. The whole year it was Paolo and Chet, and the Magic essentially just wanted to pump fake the other two teams. If you followed the draft that year you knew Jabari wasn’t going first

Your whole argument on Chet’s durability due to a freak accident is a really weak one. Him being skinnier actually prevented him from having a worse injury.
@jasonking971
@jasonking971 Ай бұрын
But still, players that are 7+ ft tall, are almost always injury prone. They usually have knee or ankle issues. Not saying the argument he made, or lack thereof, isn't true. But ya, guys built like chet or Victor always end up with injury issues.
@MrWesleyton

@@jasonking971 A lot of it has to do with luck as well, Durant and Chet are built very similarly, Durant has had a pretty good career I would say.

@@MrWesleyton for sure, but he's like the exception. You can pick out a few....and it's a very few, that had long healthy careers. But like 80% of players 7ft with that frame.....didn't play long and dealt with injuries their whole short careers
@jasonking971

Kd is also a forward. Even tho he's 7ft....you don't think of him as a big. And I'm talking about the 7ft skinny bigs

@@jasonking971 Chet doesn’t play as a traditional big either though, he switches against 4s all the time. Dub has been switched onto 5s many times, they don’t use any position traditionally anymore and with hart and jwill they will be switching off even more.

Paolo Banchero has overcome any expectations that anyone had on him. Got the Magic to a 5th seed in his sophomore season where his front office got 2 potential busts in the lottery. I can’t wait to see him continue to grow and hopefully his teammates can improve too because the Magic could have a very good young core
