Many young people were in the audience and really enjoyed the concer as well as old farts. Each band sounded great in spite of some last minute adjustments due to a couple guys getting Covid.

Here's some needed advice : Please rehearse your narration of any future video. Your starting and stopping, the mispronunciations of words, and your unfamiliarity with the subject matter, all combine to provide a "less than the best" experience for your subscribers. Just watch the video as you read the script, several times over, before you post it. That will make both your subscribers' enjoyment better and it will improve your skills so as to improve our perceptions of you as a Knowledgeable videographer. No offense intended, just trying to help.

This guy really needs to work on his delivery! Very hard to listen to him. It’s called practice! I know how difficult it is the record yourself. It isn’t easy! Instead of trying to read it straight thru, I would suggest that you record it is smaller chunks! ANNUNCIATION IS KEY! “Kind of a Drag” are actually pronounced as THREE DISTINCT WORDS! Word on it. You can do it. I guarantee it will make this video much easier to listen to!

How could you do a " What Happened to The Buckinghams ? " and not discuss Dennis Tufano's solo career ? While working in Hollywood , he and vocalist, Mindy Sterling recorded the original opening theme song for the hit sitcom, Family Ties . Their version was used for the 1st 13 episodes of the series until politics @ the studio / network pushed for , and replaced the Tufano/ Sterling opening with the Johnny Mathis version . In addition to numerus acting roles in TV and film, Tufano became a much- in- demand voice over/ post production voice actor while also forming his own voice acting " looping / walla group " . He was chosen by Olivia Newton John to tour and be a featured performer with her during which time, he sang 2 duets from Grease with Newton John. Tufano has toured, for years , as a solo act singing the hits of The Buckinghams ( He was the original lead voice on all of their hits ) as well as the hits of other 60s performers in popular Classic Rock tours. In recent years, he also toured with his one man musical tribute to Bobby Darin, " I Remember Darin ", a standout, critically acclaimed homage to the singer. He is already booked for tours ,in the fall and, God willing, the specter of Covid will disapate so that he and his fellow musicians can continue to entertain and bring the music that was " The soundtrack to a generation " to sold out audiences, across the nation . " Too old to tour... ? !! " Go to a Dennis Tufano concert and see if you think he or, so many other 60s rockers are too old. Just watching Jimy Sohns ( The Shadows of Knight, G L O R I A , etc. ) will exhaust you. Jim Peterik ( The Ides of March, Vehicle, Eye of the Tiger, etc ) and the other Ides never stop rocking, in their shows and, the list goes on...The Cryan Shames still harmonize like choirboys, America, Jay and The Americans... See anyone of these performers/ groups in concert, witness an audience jump to their feet for a standing ovation when Dennis Tufano closes a show... No, these men and women are not too old to perform. Not too old at all...

I am obviously a fan of the original Buckinghams and appreciate the research that you have put into your video. That being said, as I posted last year, I really feel that , if a history of this group is going to be made, it should include the post- Buckingham and present day career of the “ Original Voice “ of every major hit The Buckinghams had, Dennis Tufano. Full disclosure, I am a close friend and photographer to Dennis . However, there are many, many fans who continue to miss Dennis’ presence and performance in the group ( With respect to the current iteration of the band that now tours as The Buckinghams ). The recognition and critical acclaim that Dennis has received as a solo performer is an important chapter in the history of this band .

The Buckinghams are from Chicago, Illinois and not the United Kingdom. They are still performing and touring. They sound terrific even today and are not from Great Britian or part of the British Invasion bands. These guys are timeless 1960's Rock N' Rollers of the iconic and historic era that produced such authentic and great musicians. "You Are Gone" was a song from Time and Charges that showed some Edgar Varese influence in its use of horns and percussion. The same album also had "Foreign Policy" which had protest lyrics, dissonant horns, a tape of a Kennedy speech, and the whole middle section ran backwards at the end of the tune. Guercio, whom i believe might have been involved with Frank Zappa, made the Buckinghams more than a simple pop group.
