Glad is an English shortened version of the name Gladys, I often wonder if the lyrics I'm feeling Glad all over, was a happy memory for her?

HELLO - can you please do some research on the 1960s band - FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS ?
@ffieditor3 жыл бұрын
they missing that really happen to DC5 was DC lost the use of one hand from a bobsled where he went off track. it made it impossible to play the drums any more.
@fangirllinda Жыл бұрын
@PJ White I read in an interview with DC that he said he broke both wrists in a tobogganing accident, but it was after the DC5 disbanded.

They never played live - a solid clue to who really was on the records - not them. They never changed their sound / like Herman hermits they were outdated in a couple years - and narration is god awful

I often wondered this. Every clip you see of them is mimed. I’m sure they played live but not to many videos of them.
@ovalvox78883 жыл бұрын
I found a live performance. The Royal Command Performance. That’s all I could find. The rest is all mimed. Not even plugged in to look live. Plenty of Beatles and Stones live but they could all play and play well.

The Hermits played live on Ed Sullivan five times. Peter Noone (Herman) says they did the songs "better than the record." Do not diss the Hermits. They were my favorite band when I was 13.

Really a well-researched video. But the audio/narration absolutely must be re-rehearsed and overdubbed to exclude the grammatical errors and associated gaffs. What happened to The Dave Clark Five?.......the best answer was in an excellent review I read in 1993 with the release of the CD compilation that year: "They failed to cross Abbey Road". And that's about as concise as it gets!

Hey my friend...thanks for this video. Now In answer to your question...my favorite band of the 1970's and the 1980's is the JGEILES BAND. They were totally outstanding and yet, how come they are not in the rock and roll hall of fame??? Their selection committee must be out to lunch somewhere.

Plural, dude. They were called The Young RascalS then The RascalS.
@johnguy58493 жыл бұрын
Rascals always reminded me of a studio created group....like the Monkees and Cowsills and Partridge Family etc. Came late with none of the cred of the earlier groups that came up through the survive or die club and dancehall world of that day. Maybe i'm wrong but they seemed kind of created for the moment. Some good songs though.

I always listened to the DC5 in their early days ... they had the glamour of the 60s.. the looks of the 60s ... the only thing is that they didn't survive the change of trend like most early 60s bands... my favourite song is "Glad all over" thanks..
@rickcourier84512 жыл бұрын
DC5 Was and still is a favorite. Tell the narrator to read over the material before he records it. My seven year old grandson could do a better job.
