S.W.A.T. was a police drama that aired for two seasons on ABC from February 1975 to April 1976. The series starred Steve Forrest, Robert Urich, Rod Perry, Mark Shera, and James Coleman as the members of a fictional California SWAT team. This series focused on dramatic missions of a team of highly trained and heavily armed police officers whose purpose is to make coordinated assaults on armed and dangerous criminals. But what happened to the cast after the show ended?

I remember this show well. Growing up in the seventies it was one of several good shows. The good old days

Wednesday night on ABC: "The Rookies" 8PM; "SWAT" 9PM; "Starsky and Hutch" 10 PM. I just found a T.J. figure from LJN on the'Bay and still have the long rifle I got in 1975, couldn't have him w/just a M-16.🙃

If you want a real gem, get the SHOUT! factory DVD of second season. They were on location almost every episode and the one episode that never aired: "Officer Luca, You're Dead." Hands down one of the best episodes.

I watched S.W.A.T & Emergency as a child. I always wanted to be a firefighter even before Emergency was on TV. I have an autographed photo from Steve Forrest I loved to watch him on S.W.A.T.

ME-TV Plus, a free over the air channel all over the country, Has many 60,'s, 70's and 80's greats including SWAT, The Rookies, T.J. Hooker, Police Story, Police Woman, Hawaii Five-O, Streets of San Francisco, and on and on and on.

I vaguely remember this series. I do remember that we had to play the theme song at a school concert (I believe during this exact time period) and we were so bad that the music teacher had to go hi-tech and play his synthesizer to drown us out.

when SWAT originally aired. I thought I remembered it as corny. It's on Tubi right now (in 2024'). I was wrong. The show is Great. Im really shocked how serious the issues are on the show. And for TV its very Gritty. So, everyone especially 70s Kids, go on Tubi and watch this excellent show..."
