I was always a fan of the Jets, and I wasn’t a kid or a teenager in the 80’s, I was in my 20’s. I always hoped that they would all be more and more famous and powerful, having not only many hits but a production company, a studio, producing songs for other artists, TV commercial appearances and jingles, tv and movie appearances, and different siblings having solo albums. That’s what should have happened if their manager wasn’t making his own pockets fat. So when it came to changes in music and lifestyles they would all have survived the 90’s and beyond ok. The music industry is great when everything is going your way and artists and managers and record companies are all making money. But more and more artists unfortunately ended up like the Wolfgramns , and I’m glad younger artists today are more independent and smarter when it comes to their careers and contracts . Right now I’m just glad that the family is doing alright living their lives.

In Australia, the only song of theirs that made a slight dent Down Under was Rocket 2 U which gained some (but more acurately miniscle) airplay on some of the Saturday music video TV shows (Video Hits on Channel 10 and Rage on the ABC). That was the first and only time I'd heard of them. I was following the charts, radio shows and music television programs like a hawk back in those days so pretty sure that song was their only exposure us Aussies got to them. Rocket 2 U peaked at a paltry #93 on the Australia ARIA charts, so most Aussies likely would not even be familiar with them, which is sad because they're great
