Another great video i love watching someone who knows what they are doing on a track cutter. That brushy stuff is a mess. I wish they would cut the bad stuff out the first time in Ga. The land i've leased seems like they cut the best stuff first. They do let it grow a lot longer up here.

Thomas, you are so experienced, your foresters and owners can just let you manage the stands. Your discussion about basal area was great. It is so important to the first thin work that you and the crew do. It affects stems per acre which affects future growth and revenue. Surprisingly it is also important for recreational and wildlife management. Good job man, you rock. 👍

Oh and I just wanted to say Thomas when you first started your video you said you was going to have to cut back on talking about certain things after reading all of the the comments I’m like the other people Thomas I don’t see where you have said anything wrong about any pizza equipment all the dealers I mean stand your ground brother all you’re doing is putting out there what you see is wrong with the piece equipment and of that company can’t handle that well then somethings wrong with them I mean right right and wrong is wrong but that’s just my opinion brother I don’t see where you had said anything negative or down to anybody so keep on keeping on brother let’s go get another load

Hey buddy we know how it is working in the woods. I work for a logger myself in Southern Virginia. You gonna have your good days and bad. Pros and cons with dealing with all kinds of equipment. You do what yall gotta to do to make that money. Put out a video when you can, and we'll watch it. Don't put yourself in a bind working just to get a video for us. I never thought you have been overly critical of your equipment break downs. Pointing out problems are helpful for manufacturers and other loggers. People outside of the industry don’t realize how much the equipment choices have contracted! There are only 3 skidder manufacturers today, or just 2 if you don’t consider a paving company producing logging equipment! At least if you need a dozer there are about 6 manufacturers to choose from. With the prices of new equipment today I don’t see anything wrong with holding the vendors feet to the fire!
