Somewhere around 40 years ago my mother was a representative for a food company and I got to wear the Kool-Aid suit at a marketing event on a hot summer day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Thankfully it had an internal cooling system and two fan assisted vents.

I was 9 and my brother was 6. I made 2 pitchers of Kool-Aid and accidentally put the 2 different flavors in the same pitcher. I panicked because I knew Mom would be upset that I wasted 2 packets, so he gallantly chugged the entire pitcher of grape-orange Kool-Aid. And promptly threw up. That right there is why he's my favorite brother. 😂

My parents use to buy the huge bulk pre-sweeten cherry flavor Kool-Aid in bulk when I was a kid. We had it constantly growing up in Winnipeg MB in the 90s. As an adult if I can't be anywhere near the stuff, if I smell it I will throw up uncontrollably.
