Pretty sure the one that was donated to GG is the one Clarkson drove.

Cool video, i remember you from years ago and this is much much better work to the point it the production values rivals most racing orientated channels. Almost like i've just watch a WTF1 video lol. Great job and look forward to the next.

I saw it at the classic team lotus museum next to their aborted 90s indycar and it was weird. The airbox looks complex inside and the cockpit is smaller than the one on the lotus 88 that was sat 10 feet away

Anyone that follows F1 properly would not mistake it for an F1 car I think haha! But I do find it quite amusing how rushed the whole project was, think it could have been very successful had they done it right!

@@KieranMogg I'll be honest before I remembered the top gear episode I honestly thought it was a prototype or proof of concept car like the weird looking test car Toyota had Salo and McNish running around in during 2001. The suspension geometry didn't look quite right and I wouldn't trust it on a long run. The cooling at the back of the body didn't look very effective. I suspect they thought aero development might make the car uglier or untidy by adding things so they kept it basic to improve aesthetics. The tour guide wasn't particularly helpful and dismissed the whole thing because anything after 1994 isn't "real lotus" which meant I got sod all out of him.

The Top Gear track isn't really a great track to keep life in the tires. This is build to drive on F1 tracks.
