Can't tell you how much the comment about Hutch's level of maturity annoyed me. The fact that people force themselves to be more mature as they age is exactly what's wrong with the world. The only person you should ever be is yourself, and changing your ways to try and fit in with daily society is disgusting to me.. I'm 21, and like the guy who posted the comment, I've also been here since the early CoD4 days (across multiple KZbin accounts). And to me, the fact that Hutch has stayed true to himself through his entire KZbin experience, well it's a blessing. Far too many people get caught up in their own self importance nowadays and attempt to be someone they're not to gain fame, and it's great to see someone with a genuine "if you don't like me, then fuck off" attitude. I respect that so much.

Also, along with everyone else here, I really don't get that whole "immature" comment, especially when you talk about some pretty serious stuff at times and give some seriously great, useful insights into things. Everyone seems to be circlejerking about his maturity, probably just because he's Hutch. "Oh he's Hutch and the guy who put down the comment is just some idiot on the internet." Here's the truth of it: He got married on a whim on a weekend trip to Vegas and got divorced less than a year later. That right there is something that is incredibly immature. And to be honest, I had this feeling in the back of my mind when he first made the announcement that he was married and here's why: Whether or not you like it, he is an immature person. Hutch is incredibly opinionated and won't budge even in the face of valid counter-arguments. He feels that an injustice has been done against him because he was circumcised when he was a baby, he still brings up topics like, "If you could clone yourself, would you blow yourself?" and "Is it possible to be monogamous when you have 1.5 billion dollars?" Like really? This is maturity to you all? He tries so hard to come across as this "wise old man" putting up videos on the internet but even when all of you are saying he's mature talking about his ex-wife, he's dodging the question. Yes, he is right that he shouldn't talk about it publicly. There's no reason to air it out in the open. But while he's talking about it he's throwing out excuses and justification for why he's still right because he made the correct decision to get divorced. And then immediately afterwards, he praises himself saying that he just put up "one of the funniest videos I've ever posted." _Actually_ watch his videos and try to leave out your previous opinion of who he has been to you these past 6 years. Ask yourself, "Do I really think that this man is a mature person?"

He makes these questions because they are funny and he is an entertainer. While him getting married was a mistake, a lot of what he says you should take with a grain of salt. He most definitely doesn't actually mean what he says.

Most of the people I was subscribed to back then I don't even bother watching anymore because most of their content has changed completely from when they started. I concur to this. Over the years I smoked weed daily; the more I started hearing, believing and seeing things that weren't there. I luckily recognized this, quit, and rebuilt my life. Some people will continue to think that they are perfectly fine and end up in a very, very dark place. About the weed issue: I've had a tricky relationship with weed: I started smoking right after end of highschool, I use to be somewhat anti-drugs and then I just said fuck it, and have had the biggest discovery philosophically, musically, socially (etc, etc). For a whole year weed had no negative effects on me whatsoever. Then I started being anxious, and I cringed to the old memories and kept smoking for a year and a half until school actually required me to be serious so I had to drop it. I now get anxiety thinking about smoking weed... It's not about the strain, type, quality, or even people anymore. It's just how I became, so yeah.

Here's what I've had to gather from all of this. Hutch is/was and has been an entertainer for as long as I can remember. Granted, im not that old. Only 16. nor im I anything wise or intelligent. But I know one damn thing for sure, and it's that back then Hutch was funny and he is STILL being funny. Granted humor has shifted, but for the good. A comic can never run on the same material.
