I know this guy. He has so many NBDs. He's now focusing on fishing and 4WD. He is a SUPER shy guy and wasn't interested in all the attention

this would make a good theme for a series of videos. Remember this? and where are they now?: a post 15 minutes of fame review type of thing. For example, I can't remember his name, but around 2011 there was a guy from New England who rode self-fabricated solid, metal wrapped wheels, like a full wheel hub guard. his bike must've weighed more than a circa 1998, mid school S&M Warpig but he had a crazy and creative bag of tricks. I'm sure there are hundreds of other interesting stories out there.

He still rides just havent since his son has been born :) he chooses to not film as its really just something he loves 😊 he unfortunately shattered his ankle trying to do a combo up in darwin (nt) a few years ago and had to relearn his bike but he got back on in a moon boot and kicks arse whenever he gets time to go to the park 🎉

He prob just loved riding his bike. I have pretty bad anxiety and know i damn sure wouldnt want to be on TV at X games or have to do interviews, ect. A lot of people are just shy and dont want the "fame". He most likely knew if he continued down that path it was x games and TV and interviews, sponsership obligations, ect. I wouldn't want it either. I hate being the center of attention no matter how good I am at something. No one really owes us or BMX anything. Just like BMX owes us nothing. The fact that he put his videos out for people to see is more than enough. There are guys all over the country absolutely destroying parks at 7am. Not because they want the park to themselves to hog it. They dont want the attention their skills bring because they are shy. Ive seen it many times. No one filming. No one watching. (except me from afar) the world will never see what they are capable of because they dont want the world to see it. And thats their choice to make.
