Him, and and handful of other drivers from his era, I never understood why no teams tried to take them in because they were pretty solid and reliable. He, kobayashi, sutil, Vergne, petrov, van der garde etc

True. Kobayashi was spectacular, Petrov had potential and Vergne was woefully underrated for some reason.

@@thatayrellguy3023 Kobayashi was a true pay driver travesty. Gutierrez is nowhere near the racer Kamui is. Perez mentions Kobayashi more than Button for teaching him tyre management.

Facts: pole position of the final 2008 race was 1'12". Timo Glock's last lap was 1'44". A one legged turtle would have lapped that circuit faster than Glock. And now we have to cope with Hamilton complaining about Abu Dhabi 2021...
