Truth but that wasn't her fault. I don't think there was any ill intent on Tim's behalf when he said that. He really loves Aaliyah and I don't think he would lie about a dream about her "speaking to him." Yes, it turned out to be a bad career move for Tim to say that out loud because naturally it posed Tink against Aaliyah and, obviously, nobody's having that. I just think he had a vision for her and his dream confirmed that so his passion and good intentions led to bad things. It's actually kind of sad. At least Tink was able to recover sonically, and still remain in touch with Tim. RIP BABY GIRL

Wooowww I heard the version with think and even the breakfast club was like why didn’t you encourage the version with her when he’s version lacked seasoning. He was cool with jay but a women outshining him and making his song he couldn’t do. He rather have a bland track. Soemtimes it’s not lack of talent but others pride y’all we really do gotta still keep grinding it out

Our people at times are the reason some of our people don't get the shine that they deserved. That young lady can sing. Period! It's sad that someone with a fake butt, and pretends to be Black like Iggy Azelea who made it big. I will never get it!!!

THIS WOMAN IS PURE MAGIC 😭, you can’t listen to her mixtapes or albums without goosebumps, idc idc everything happens for a reason they not ready to love Tink like we do but it’s ok she’s gonna shine regardless

I feel like I've been listening to TINK since I was little and I'll be 22 this year 🥰 Jay-Z and Bey stay open to new talent, including Drake, ASAP Rocky, etc. Others, hate change and new talent. They can't accept new new, but don't put anything new on their tracks. *Shrugs* like she said, it's all egos.

In the interview with Tink she sounded very sincere!! I don't think she was ever trying to be the next Aaliyah!! I believe Timberland wanted her to sample her song and she just wanted to bring the beat the justice it deserves!! I don't see her copying Aaliyah, I definitely think she has her own style!! Tink is extremely talented and very underrated!! I honestly believe she should be recognized and acknowledged more then she is!!

A pisces with a Virgo moon ...wow...many internal struggles. She is a beautiful soul. No wonder I like her so much. This young lady is younger me than me yet all her music is like a dream I once lived as a young lady. We love you tink💜

Her story is one that I hope she is grateful for, it's evident that timberland really is a good guy because based on other stories she could've ended up still not being able to own her own records or be released from her contract

Not really he tried helping her career its the industry didn't want to support her
@SageSokae4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think he tried to do more good but it did more harm, unintentionally. He saw her talent and where it SHOULD be and tried to put it there but you have to properly sell your artist to the public first and that’s where he went wrong I believe.

@@loveme-pn5je Some things work and some things don't! The marketing and song choices were not right. Tink has a better vision and formula for her career. Post contract is proof, she got the juice!

If Timberland could recognize her amazing talent then that should say something!! He is highly respected and has made some of the most successful and popular songs from my generation! I grew up to him, Aaliyah, and Missy Elliot music!! I honestly don't think he would go so hard for a artist he didn't believe in!! It seems a lot of times the people with real raw skills don't get the attention that some do with no talent at all!! Nowadays you can get famous from social media like Tik-Tok and Instagram just by being attractive!! It really is unfortunate and sad that some people never be successful and get the credit they deserve!!

I LOVE Tink, Round the Clock, Background Music, Clique, I have been a fan since Alter Ego, I remember when she first signed to Timbaland. You couldn’t tell me nothing, I was her #1 fan. Still am a huge mega fan. I was disappointed I didn’t get to be inspired by ‘Think Tink’ cause the singles gave me that. I think if her career started NOW, all those singles are HITS. This is a fact 2020. ‘Hopeless Romantic’ dropped and I was just like YES music Queen, show them the evolution of YOUR lane they wouldn’t acknowledge. She deserves any success coming her way, because she went hard for her music, she didn’t have scandals, or non of that mess. I still think she definitely could have surpassed Lauren like Nicki did Kim. I’m not comparing I’m on some “pass the Baton” type time. I love music, not the theatrics of it all. But thank you for the insight!
