Vijay-GVM combo has high chances of happening right now at this moment. When Yohan was narrated to Vijay at that time, he was still in that rural action hero zone with Vettaikaaran, Sura, Kaavalan, Velayudham, etc. That was when that infamous "Vijay giving Sivakasi DVD to GVM and asking him to refer to it when writing script" happened. Now Vijay after Thuppakki, Kaththi, Mersal, etc has entered that city based action zone and also his recent films have had more traces of classy grandeur that was missing from his rural action avatars (the Atlee-ARM influence has seeped into Vijay's cinema). So best time for GVM to come up with a full bound city based action script (with some traces of thara local 'Anjala' style songs) and Vijay should give his nod easily.

being a thalapathy fan,VJ has to pair up with GVM.. ppl say he copies from Hollywood movies.well I would say he s just inspired from them.. even sirithai copied Hollywood scenes for vuvegam,but except for visuals it felt like a third grade movie.,but yennai arindhal was made regional but GVM gave it a Hollywood touch.. Besides vettaiyadu vilayadu was actually way ahead of time..it was just 2006 but the movie portrayed psychopathic serial rapist for real,n two divorcees marrying.. VJ has to start yohan,start from clean slate
