Its the SALT on the roads thats rusting those cars. It get VERY COLD in Michigan with lots of snow and lots of ice from October through April.

They become rusted from the salt...when the roads are salted to prevent sliding from black ice. We maintained our vehicle yet had rust spots just because like I said the salt from the roads.

You realize that rust is pretty much impossible to fully control when you live in Michigan aka “the rust belt”. It’s kind of like saying “why don’t Florida people cook the state down from all the heat” lol. I’m disappointed y’all haven’t explored flint, Saginaw, more of Detroit, Muskegon heights, etc lol. I thought y’all were hood tho (in Jose’s hood accent lol)

@@Readyornotriddle Detroit is on a whole other level and I did hoods other places. I didn't even wanna go into the ones in Detroit . In other cities, less a problem to.

Did you ever considering doing any editing? If not for fast forward, you could spend about 15 minutes just looking at the license plates of the cars ahead. The long wait staring at the doors of the party store was a big plus! Perhaps there was some point to this exercise?

Ypsi is far from being the hood. Stoping at one standard Midwest liquor store doesn’t change that. Sad you didn’t go through depot town or any of the historic sites. Felt like your partner sounded sad while you shitted on our town. Thanks for visiting Katie! A fellow ypsilantian

@@cotty6395 there’s nothing nefarious about that liquor store. It’s looks the same as any other liquor store in the state. No offense but are you currently here? Houses in gault village barely stay on the market. That neighborhood is highly sought after and the area is quiet. I commented because there were a ton of historic streets or fun local businesses/restaurants to go to and instead the focus was on a liquor store and insinuating that made it hood when Ann Arbor, saline, Belleville and various other neighboring cities pretty much all have neighborhood liquor store(s) that look just like that.

It's named after the Greek General Dimitrius Ypsilanti. One in North Dakota too.

Did you Ypsilanti was once called woodruffs groove ? One of the founders on the area stillbhas descendents that live just block away from where the first homes were built .

I literally cried back in May when I was in Ypsi. It is NOT the town I grew up in and loved back in the 70's. It has gone to 💩 and you can thank the local government for that.

These two missed 80 per cent of Ypsilanti, not to mention that the abandoned house is not in Ypsilanti. No mention nor picture of Depot Town, nothing east of Prospect: Those who can - do. Those who can't - sell real estate....hope they can find their listings.

I live here. It’s decent, but only good food I find aside from Ann Arbor is middle eastern food, shawarma n such. I grew up in Biloxi so I certainly miss the heat

Crime is mostly contained to the south side away from Eastern Michigan University. The shops downtown are eclectic like you would find in most liberal arts areas. American culture is largely deracinated, so variety mostly stems from immigration
