I think it has to do with Atlanta being on the scene in the early 2000’s with their sound. I don’t wanna say that it was a fad but if you look at Joc, D4L, Dro, etc you really don’t hear from them like that anymore. Styles always change and I think Joc might of fell into that 2000 Atlanta sound and couldn’t recover. Now, he’s on LHH trying to stay relevant...to each its own🤷🏽‍♀️.
