its just the aesthetic its kinda like when he came out with the nike air max 270 and painted over the air buble to make it look more vintage. i personally dont mind the painted over air bubble, i have a pair of nike air max 720s and the air bubble is fogged so you cant see through. plus its better for the longevity of the shoe because after a while clear air bubbles start to yellow.

I was lucky on SNKRS for a personal size. Had to see these in hand as I was on the fence about them. Still was not completely convinced in hand so I sold them after debating which to keep out of these, AM1 treeline and AJ3 cardinals (both deadstock). TS release pack is not that great to be honest. The concept is good but the execution did not quite cut it for me and the materials are nothing special

I'd say the Cactus branding is just Nike distancing themselves from the controversy of having the Travis Scott name directly on the shoe, everyone knows it's his trainer range, everyone knows it's him getting the cheque, but there's a bit more protection from criticism on Nike's side of things

I think the reverse swoosh simply doesn’t work on the airmax 1. Also not a fan of hidden windows. The windows made the airmax line a success.I was thinking about copping them but ended up passing. There are 1s out there within the same price range that are way nicer. I would probably choose the lemon drops out of the 3 but then again,it’s double the price for a shoe that’s just “okay”
