Kobe was the closest thing some people had to a father. When their dad was out drinking, committing crimes or simply being absent for their own self interest they turned to Kobe. Kobe’s death still hurts people to this day and it’s totally ok. January 26 will never be a normal day for a lot of people.

Giannis was in the league when the Miami Heat big 3 were dominating... in Giannis' rookie year, Durant won MVP and Kawhi Finals MVP with that great Spurs team of 2014... Giannis was just a raw prospect with ton of potential... by 2016, where his body was shaped as it is today, it seemed like Giannis was ready to take over... in 2019 was the moment that came... 2021 and going, it's just absurd how much better he is since 2016... even me, as a Greek, who saw a ton of live games since 2014, I only expected a player similar to Nikola Batum in terms of skillset and impact... Giannis made a clown out of me and became a top 15 player of all time (and climbing)...

He has done damn near everything. 2x MVP, DPOY, Champion, Finals MVP, Multiple time all star, All Star MVP and lead HIS OWN team to the finals and won it, being the leader of the team. What is crazy to think, is that he is still young and has alot more to go. Hopefully he stays healthy.

@@Roc_Official I think he’ll stay healthy. He rarely gets injured. The only downside I see is that Giannis’ game is heavily based on athleticism. That’s why developing a solid jumper is so crucial. As he ages out of his prime he’ll need a way to continue dominating without the insane athleticism.

People will talk about careers, but Giannis has already surpassed Malone in accolades and chips, tied Dirk and KG in both accolades and rings while being more dominant than both, and his peak is above all of them with the only exception being KG, who's prime is comparable to Giannis but given how much more dominant Giannis has been in the post season I don't see how he hasn't proven himself to be better than KG. He's far and wide the #2 PF ever

I believe that now Eastern Conference is the strongest representative of itself since 80s and 90s and there is no significant gap between West and East as it used to be in previous decades. So, if Giannis continues his dominant play and manages to lead Bucks to several championships in such a competitive era he can be compared with Duncan for the title of the greatest power forward of all time. I believe he is already top 5 pf alongside with Duncan, KG, Dirk and Karl Malone and may be regarded as one of the 35 greatest of all time

We are still years off of his peak in terms of age and athleticism, so it's all about seeing how Giannis improves his game, a respectable jumper is something we always dream of but seeing Giannis with some playmaking, and seeing develop a more consistent post game are definitely things we need to see in the future.

If their is any player in current NBA which can carry the torch from Kobe, for work ethic and mentality, it's Giannis. He is always working on his game to become better like Kobe. At the same time he listens and look upto others to incorporate the best from them also. He is destined to be great, just don't know how great he can be . Just to be in Top 10 will require multiple championships, MVPs and longevity. So he has a very long way to go and has the right tools, skills, and mentality to do so.
