I purchased the Heddphone two GT and found the connecter for adjusting the headband had come loose. The GT is supposed to be more of a casual listening tuning and I find them quite nice for the price. I owned he original HEDDPHONE and loved them but hey were two heavy with the headband provided and i could not where them for more than a 20 minutes. (bald with a slight peak on my head).I think HEDD needs to look at their quality control a bit as your exposed wire and my headphone strap pin indicates.

There's also the newer HEDDPHONE 2 GT which is "better" tuned without that huge mid-treble recess and better sub-bass.

I wasn't a fan of the original. Bass was unnatural regardless of EQ and a horrible experience to wear. These are a big improvement. The most neutral and effortless sound I've heard (with a little EQ). There was nothing in this price class I felt was value when Ananda Nano, HE6se V2 etc outperformed most $2000 options, but this is certainly a step further. LCD-5 for me is the upgrade from these that offers something, but it's not better or even as good in every way.

I like the HEDDphone 2 very much but it's simply too heavy for my skinny neck, so hopefully one of their future editions will be an acceptable weight. Incidentally, I hope that you have fully recovered from your illness, Sir. Reverend Dr. Thomas, ✝️ The Vegan Vicar 🌱
