وروى الإمام أحمد وأبو داود عن عبد الله بن عمرو قال : كنت أكتب كل شيء أسمعه من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أريد حفظه ، فنهتني قريش عن ذلك ، وقالوا : تكتب كل شيء تسمعه من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بشر يتكلم في الغضب والرضا ؟ فأمسكْتُ عن الكتابة حتى ذكرت ذلك لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فأومأ بإصعبه إلى فيه ( أي فمه ) فقال : ( اكتب فوالذي نفسي بيده ما يخرج منه إلا حق ) .

عن القاسم بن محمّد بن أبي بكر: إنّ عمر بن الخطّاب بلغه أنّه قد ظهرت في أيدي الناس كتب، فاستنكرها وكرهها، وقال: أيُّها الناس! إنّه قد بلغني أنّه قد ظهرت في أيديكم كتب فأحبُّها إلى الله أعدلها وأقومها، فلايُبقينَّ أحدٌ عنده كتاباً إلاّ أتاني به، فأرى فيه رأيي.
قال: فظنّوا أنّه يريد أن ينظر فيها ويقوّمها على أمرٍ لا يكون فيه اختلاف، فأتَوْه بكتبهم، فأحرقها بالنار!!
ثمّ قال: أُمنية كأُمنية أهل الكتاب.
وفي الطبقات الكبرى: «مثناة كمثناة أهل الكتاب»

عن عائشة قالت: «جمع أبي الحديث عن رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وكانت خمسمائة حديث، فبات ليلته يتقلب كثيرا؛ فغمني، فقلت: أتتقلب بشكوى أم لشيء بلغك؟ فلما أصبح قال: أي بنية، هلمي الأحاديث التي عندك فجئته بها، فدعا بنار فأحرقها، فقلت: لم أحرقتها؟ قال: خشيت أن أموت وهي عندي فيكون فيها أحاديث عن رجل ائتمنته ووثقت فيه، ولم يكن كما حدثني فأكون قد نقلت ذلك
ومنها ما روي عن عمر بن الخطاب "أنّه أراد أن يكتب السنن فاستخار الله شهرا فأصبح وقد عزم له، ثم قال: إني ذكرت قومًا كانوا قبلكم كتبوا كتابا فأقبلوا عليه وتركوا كتاب الله" (رواه الخطيب البغدادي في "تقييد العلم" بسند صحيح).

Their reward from their Lord shall be everlasting gardens, below which flow rivers, they will abide there forever. Well pleased is God with them and they are well pleased with Him” Quran 98:7 Muhammad bin Ali narrates in Tafsir ibne Jarir, Volume 33 page 146 (Cairo edition) that the Prophet (saww) said: “The best of creations are you Ali and your Shi’as”. Tafseer Durre Manthur Jalaladin Suyuti, (849 - 911 AH) is one of the highest ranking Sunni scholars of all times. In his commentary of this verse, he records through 3 Isnaad (chains) of narrators that the Prophet (saww) told his companions that the verse referred to Ali and his Shia. Hadhrath Ali narrates in Tafsir Durre Mansur, Volume 6 page 379 (Cairo edition) “Have you not heard this verse: “Their reward from their Lord shall be everlasting gardens, below which flow rivers, they will abide there forever”? This verse refers to you and your Shi’a, I promise you that I will meet you at the Fountain of Kawthur”. The 3 Sahaba who narrated this Hadeeth are (1) Ali (as) himself (2) Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (ra) (3) Abdullah ibne Abbas (ra). They are acknowledged by the majority school as truthful narrators of Hadeeth. Had this been in a Shi’a book, our opponents would have deemed it a forgery, but it’s presence in their own books has perplexed the minds of many of their scholars. There are no Hadeeth in which the Prophet (saaws) guaranteed paradise for a specific Sahabi and his followers, with the sole exception of Ali (as) and his Shi’a. Other Sunni scholars have also recorded this Hadeeth from Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari in their commentaries of the above verse. Hadhrath Abdullah Ibn Abbas narrates: “that when this verse descended the Prophet (s) said Ali you and your Shi’a will be joyful on the Day of Judgement” ibid. Jalaladin Suyuti Ahmad ibn Hajr al Makki quotes from Imam Dar Qatany in his al Sawaiq al Muhriqah page 159 (Cairo edition): “O Abul Hasan you and your Shi’a will attain paradise”. We appeal for justice as we have cited 18 Sunni works that records that Maula ‘Ali (as) and his Shi’a will enter Paradise. Your points are weak! Imam Ali AS addressed naming his son uthmaan and Imam Ali AS said he didn't name him after that munafiq! Abu bakr was a common kuniya and Omar was and is still a common arab name! It's a pity how this hadis project is never highlighted where truths were manufactured and the right of maula ali and ahlul baith were snatched in a flurry of events. This denigration knew no bounds and reached its apex during the time of muawiya. “O you who believe! If an evil-doer comes to you with a report, look carefully into it, lest you harm a people in ignorance, then be sorry for what you have done.” (Surah al-Hujurāt 49:6) “And, for what your tongues describe, do not utter the lie, (saying) this is lawful and this is unlawful, in order to forge a lie against Allah; surely those who forge a lie against Allah shall not prosper. A little enjoyment and they shall have a painful punishment.” (Surah an-Nahl 16:116-117) Indeed it was, and still, is, and will be, always. Hadis e thaqlain! JazakAllah, Sayed. Ya Ali madad!

'Umar said, "The Prophet is seriously ill and you have the Qur'an; so the Book of Allah is enough for us." The people present in the house differed and quarrelled. Some said "Go near so that the Prophet may write for you a statement after which you will not go astray," while the others said as Umar said. When they caused a hue and cry before the Prophet, Allah's Apostle said, "Go away!" Narrated 'Ubaidullah: Ibn 'Abbas used to say, "It was very unfortunate that Allah's Apostle was prevented from writing that statement for them because of their disagreement and noise." Quran 59:7 Ask yourself, if you were in that position would you sided with Umar or went against him and said like others said "Go near so that the Prophet may write for you a statement after which you will not go astray." Imagine today the Ummah united under truth, no terrorism, no tyranny no humiliation for the Muslims. All could have been possible if not for Umar purposely taking the Ummah astray by objecting RasoulAllah's request peace be upon him and his pure family. The statement that RasoulAllah wanted to write is found in Qitab al Sulaym, the first book of narrations compiled by Shias: Sulaym ibn Qays al Hilali says: “I heard Salman say: “I heard Ali (as) saying: “At that time that man said what he wanted to say and the Holy Prophet (saww) became angry and he removed that on which it was to be written. Why do not we ask the Holy Prophet (saww) that if he had written what he wanted to write on the katf, then no one would have deviated and there would not be disagreement between any two people.” So I kept quiet until those that were in the house got up and went. Only Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Husayn (as) remained. I wanted that I and my two companions, Abu Dhar and Miqdad also leave, so Ali (as) said to us: “Sit down.” He said he wanted to ask the Holy Prophet (saww), and we were listening, so the Holy Prophet (saww) himself started and said: “My brother, did you not hear what the enemy of Allah said? Archangel Jibra'eel first came to me and informed me that this man is Samiry of this Ummah and his companion is the calf of this Ummah. Allah has decreed that after me there will be disunity and dispute in this Ummah. So He commanded me that I write this book that I wanted to write on the skin for you and I make these three people witness to it, so you bring 'sahifa' for me.” So Ali (a.s) brought the ‘sahifa’ (book). So he wrote the names of each guiding Imam one after another after him, and Ali (as) was writing it with his hands. He (saww) said: “I am making you people witness that truly my brother, my vizier, my inheritor and my caliph in my Ummah, after me, is Ali ibn Abi Talib, then Hasan and Husayn then after them all, nine from the children of Husayn.” Then I do not remember except Ali (as) and Muhammad (saww). I could not understand properly the names of the guiding Imams, except that I heard the quality, justice and action of Mahdi and that with him, Allah will fill the earth with justice in the same manner that it is full of persecution. Then the Prophet (saww) said: “I wanted to write it and take to Masjid and then call people and read it to them all and make them all witness to it, but Allah did not will it and decreed what He liked.”” Then Sulaym says: “I met Abu Dhar and Miqdad during the period of Uthman. Both of them also told me. Then I met Ali (as) in Kufa, and Hasan and Husayn (as). They both also informed me of it confidentially. One can say since Quran says 'We revealed 7 (Al-Fatihah) recited in sets of two i.e tow units of salaat, or when one group has prostrated then let this group move back and let the other one come forth then it means Quran tells us two units in total for salaat, one unit per group in case of fear. Or Quran tells us about Zakaria in prayer chamber in standing position where angel had contacted him regarding his son John. Or that Quran mentions bow and prostrate or that establish salaat and recite Quran, but yes with the help of tradition we get the ideas and we can pick from the Quran i.e raising hands to begin the salaat, sending salaam to angels to end the prayer, or some might say these steps are not important, once I prayed the salat without raising the hands to begin it and then I saw a dream that I attempted an exam but didn't write my name/roll number on it....anyways, But for today there is another problem that is 12th imam is absent so just like we discussed about sunni likewise how do we know the teachings come from imams? there is a hadith by Imam Ali that says 'Prophet had said no doubt there will be hadiths coming after me claiming I have said this and that, only accept them if they go in accordance to the Quran'. I think having Quran as a criterion to judge reports is a better solution than the faulty solution of chain of narrators.

In the book of تذكرة الحفاظ its known imam al dhahabi narrates without focusing much on its authenticity but for this narration imam al dhahabi clearly makes clear لا تصح it is not authentic, knowing the vast knowledge of the Imam in hadith and its studies and history and other studies, and other narrations about Omar are also weak because the narrator was not at the time of Omar so how did he hear from him, and we ahlu sunnah al very precise and delicate when it comes to the authenticity of narrations because this is Deen not a game alhamdulilah, besides other sects whatever they read or hear they right away think its valid to use as evidence thats not a path of a true student of knowledge and a true person who fears Allah

This is an example of how all knowledge is so polluted which ever sect they are from. The other pity is what was this talib trying to achieve by bringing a controversial topic ? Was it to poison minds to scare them away . Would he have not better used his time focussing on some outstanding work the Khalifa have contributed to Islam. Unfortunately what many of the things the syed is mentioning is totally untrue specially about omar not allowing anyone discussing any hadith even in the masjid thats totally untrue, and that they changed the salah thats totally untrue, its very easy to say things and then say: these are in the sunnah books and we have the sources, and there is authentic narration of the prophet saying: the Quran and My sunnah, and no contradiction between the two for both are taken by ahlu sunnah, and i dont like how the syed is sending a message that ahlu sunnah have a problem with ahlu albayt and this is untrue, but i like at the end where he at least said that not everything in the books of hadith are false rather we take from them and there is moral teachings..etc. unlike other syeds. In Moses' absense Aaron was left alone with few followers while the majority worshipped Golden Calf under Samiri's magic. Likewise to judge and think the way you are doing it would be incorrect: 'Ali was a brave guy, he would just take out his sword and start fighting the people if the things were going against his will..' If you just read Sahih Bukhari you would get to know Ali and Fatimah were not given the chance to participate in the election for the caliph, so it wasn't a true election. Secondaly Sahih Bukhari says Fatimah died after 6 months and told Ali to bury her in secret so Abu Bakr cannot come to her grave since She had broke all the connections with him. And we are told afterwards Ali accepted Abu bakr as caliph and people' attitude towards him became good since before when he had not accepted him as caliph people's attitude was different.

Shia always fabricating lies. It's actually the prophet who prohibited the writing of ahadith in early years of Islam because he wanted people to first learn qur'an. In later years he allowed it. He even encouraged the sahaba to write hadith, one of sahaba who used to write was Abdullah inb amr ibn al-ass. In the time of Umar he also discourage the writing of hadith because so many people were coming to Islam and he only wanted qur'an halaqa in the masajid (mosques). And later he allowed it. So the were many hadith narrators in madina among them were Abu hurayra, Aisha Abdullah ibn amr Abdullah ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas , Anas ibn Malik and ibn Masoud in kufa. Unlike the Shia we don't accept hadith because our imam said so we investigate the chain of narrators, their liability and trustworthiness. May Allah guide us to the straight path. Amin.
